Thread: What's your favorite mantra?

"I lucid dream" has worked for me several times. some times it gives me weird semilucid dreams.
One I like for meditation is "I don't have to have anything, I don't have to do anything, and I don't have to be anything except for exactly what I am being right now"

For dreaming it's AaaaaaUuuuuuMmmmmm...

It is simple & works for me.

I've been a little lazy so I've used "Tonight, a dream character is going to ask me if I'm dreaming," and it's been working pretty well.

So you can pretty much just tell your subconscious what to do right? Like if I said "I will perform a reality check", it's as if I am reprogramming it.

Trickster: does Aum actually give you lucid dreams? Funny that it never occurred to me to try it. I chant "I'm dreaming" to myself all the time (lucid living, meh?). I'm thinking of making a sigil for it, just because it would be easier to say and have the same effect.

Here's a few that I like:

"The next time that I am dream, I want to remember to recognize that I am dreaming."

"As I drift deeper, my unconscious is already leading toward my goal."

and this last one is more for relaxation and sleep paralysis than dreaming:

"I trust in the wisdom of the body."

In some circles a real mantra is never told to anyone.
