Remove your fear emotions in a lucid dream o.O

is it possible to remove some emotions you dont want? like fear for example, with the lack of fear im pretty sure any lucid dream wil be really fun. knowing that nothing can really scare you, you can do what ever you want to bad monsters/nightmares. im really curious about this

Of course it is! But I don't recommend it, especially for fear, I had to create a DC to scare me since I lost fear in dreams, after all, fear helps a lot with fighting!

In nightmares just go kick some asses lol. Or just fly away. If scared go outside and kick asses outside xD There's no point in trying to remove fear as an emotion.Just be courageous and go fight that monster/whatever you dream of

You actually can remove it, just takes some persuasion on your part. Knowing that it is a dream should be persuasive enough for just anybody to lose their fears. But what I recommend is to use that "rush" of fear to your advantage, do something with it.

Well in one LD I had once I guess i didnt remember that I am terrified of clowns. I walked right by a clown and it didnt phaze me a bit. IRL even a picture of a clown will freak me out yet in the dream which was lucid I only recognized that there was a clown but had no fear of it. When i woke up I was wondering how that worked and wish i could forget that im afraid of clowns in real life too
I accept that my reality is always a dream so if something changes I know I'm right.

I think so, but I've never actively tried to do it, at least no consciously. I used to be seriously scared of tornadoes. In real life, we were under a really bad tornado warning. The sky was black, black, black. And not like an expansive black of the universe, but like a thick foggy curtain. The winds were nearly hurricane force, even standing in the porch was dangerous with all the branches and debris whipping about.

My parents emptied out the closet and stuffed it with blankets and pillows, in case the worst would happen. They also made me put on my thickest jacket. They listened for an hour, for the sound of a tornado, weighing if the closet or getting in the car was better. It was the scariest storm I've ever been in!

I was already scared of tornados before that, but now they seemed to increase in frequency in my dreams. It lasted for years! (not even lucid could I conquer the tornado)

In one nightmare the tornado got so close, it was right up against my window. The sound was enormous! Years later, it felt like that dreamed continued. I run to my closet, but it's too late. The tornado takes me. I'm holding onto the bar where I hang my clothes, my feet are being lifted up!

But I reason there's no point fighting, and I let go.

The dream grows dark, and when I open my eyes again I'm safe in a giant mall, as the tornado trails away. I haven't dreamed of a tornado since.

I think you can conquer your fears in dreams. But it's less about conquering something and more about surrendering.
