      First Lucid Dream? (I think)

So, I had a false awakening last night followed by a very low awareness lucid dream, I think, either that, or I forgot it. I woke up remembering seeing my alarm clock and realizing it was a dream. I think I went back to sleep after realizing it was dream. I then woke up and went through sleep paralysis, got scared, and woke myself up. It was my first experience with any of this and was really fuzzy. Thank you for any responses.

It definitely sounded like a lucid, as long as you knew at some point that it was a dream. Congrats!

The fact that you went back to sleep after realizing you were dreaming probably meant that your awareness wasn't super high, but sometimes lucid dreams can be like that. You might be near-fully conscious, or just vaguely aware. All are counted as lucids, even ones that only last for a few moments.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

Thanks. Basically I knew it was a dream, but I didn't really care if that makes much sense

When you have your first clear lucid dream there will be no doubt in your mind. The question of whether or not it was a lucid dream will not come up. Good luck to you!

That makes perfect sense, I had a few dreams just like that.
