Thread: How many reality checks do you do per day?

let me tell you something. Only do RC's when you actualy ask yourself in real life am I dreaming. Not because you HAVE to. Just because it happens. so my count varies

I ask myself every time. I don't just try to put my finger through my hand either. I try to become really aware of my body, how I feel and what's going on around me. I've had like 10 people ask me about LDing in the past 2 days and on top of that have been thinking about it almost constantly with the MILD class and all. Whenever I have a thought about LDing I usually do one. I don't even always do them in LDs, it's just sort of another thing I can do to put my mind on it.

I'm really surprised at the results so far of this poll. I chose 24+, because I do one at least every half hour, probably a bit more often than that. I assumed most LDers did them about once every 30-60 minutes, but I guess my impression was wrong. I don't know why I've been assuming that.

the colour blue has been in my dreams a lot lately ,everything in waking life seems blue at the moment lol ;]

theres blue on this page aint there -better do a rc ;[

I do an RC when the light bulb in the bathroom or anywhere in the house blows so that's like one every 2 years.

I do one whenever I remember because I don't seem to get "cues" to do them in my dreams. Usually I do them 6 or 7 times a day.

I guessed about 10-13, but tbh it varies depending on my mood.

Sometimes I do this many, but I usually do less. I'll get really OCD about LDing sometimes and do a reality check every time I go to a different room. That way I get used to questioning every scene change and seeing if it's a dream.

I can't concentrate the things I do when I perform too much RC during the day... That's why I am too lazy with RCs (1-3/day)

I would do RCs but I just can't ask myself if I'm dreaming because it's obvious I'm not. This sucks.

Do it anyway. It makes it a habit and then it happens in dreams.

Alright I'll continue to keep doing it when I remember to.

I do them randomly throughout the day, ranges from 5-10.

When I do, it's no more than 3 times I guess, although mostly I don't RC during the hole day.

I usually perform RCs about five or six times an hour, ten if I can remember.

Normally I do zero. I should probably do one as soon as I wake up but I forget. I just practice being aware. I've become lucid by noticing the weird things around me.

I used to do a lot... 15 to 20, but now maybe 5. I used to need the RCs to become lucid but now something tips me off or suddenly I just realize it. Havent needed to RC in the dreams in awhile as I am sure I am dreaming when it happens now.

I just do a RC whenever I think of it. I've been really lazy about lucid dreaming stuff this summer, so that probably amounts to 2-4 RCs a week. Still, it's a good habit, and it doesn't require much effort. I haven't had a lot of lucid dreams this summer, but I have had some.
