Never heard of it, but sounds pretty cool, ahaha. I would love to try this with someone, but my friends aren't really into lucid dreaming like I am. |

Me and my friend are trying to induce lucid dreaming via a buddy system. One person goes to sleep and the other stays up and watches the other person until they see REM eye movement. then the wake buddy gives the sleeping buddy a predetermined signal like flashing a light in the sleeping buddy's eyes and saying your dreaming. If the sleeping buddy gets lucid they move their eyes in a predetermined movement to signal that they are lucid. Have any of you every heard of this or tried it? |

yea i some how got one of my friends interested and then we came up with this idea. I tried to be the sleeping one first but i couldn't fall asleep i guess it was too much pressure for me. Hes been asleep for an hour now so i have about 30 minutes until i get to test it out on him. |

This sound cool . It's always fun to work on lucid dream with a friend it keeps the motivation level high |

Now that's what I call determination. I've heard of mechanisms being sold over the internet which mimic the method you're describing. What they're called exactly escapes me but I seems like it'd be a quick search for anyone with few friends and excessive amounts of spending money ; D I've heard nothing but good things about them, though I can imagine after a while they stop working as well as they did right out of the box (as a result of tolerance, of course, and not failure of the device). You may think to incorporate scheduled wake times into your method seeing as how, from my experience, dreams are easier recalled when awakened gently and not by the harsh sound of an alarm. |

so my first attempt last night failed because my buddy woke up. But we're gonna hopefully try it again. Last time i said his name and he said that that always wakes him up so next time ill leave his name out and be quieter. |
