      Dream incubation and MILD the same thing?

      I decided I would try to incubate a dream about practicing reality checks, producing a lucid dream and helping me reality check.

      So I did some reading around. As far as I can tell, MILD is dream incubation about lucid dreaming under the name MILD. Both are about controlling your last thought before you fall to unconsciousness. MILD is always about LDing though.

      I'm trying, but I'm under medicine that supresses REM right now, so I'm having trouble. But is my evaluation sound? Are they the same thing?

      I read the MILD part of it. It still seems very similar. I think MILD is a focused version of incubation on Lucid Dreaming. Or rather, a method to incubate a dream specifically with Lucid Dreaming.

      Both incubation and MILD seems to be about controlling that last thought before you reach unconsciousness.

      MILD you repeat things in your head, while incubating a dream you don't have to do that if you don't want to, but it's still a way to do it

      A MILD is when you repeat a mantra in your head before going to sleep. Dream Incubation is when you try to have a specific dream topic occur. So Dream Incubation CAN be used for MILD, but it isn't MILD.
