Yeah, the term "semi-lucid" is subjective to the dreamer. Whatever dreams you want to classify as semi-lucid, go ahead and do it .

      Hi KingYoshi,

I had recommended to a DG on chat that we could use a check box on the DJ's so I can identify my "semi-lucids" as such. I could simply look for the dreams that I checked as semi-lucid. The problem is, I am appealing to people who don't believe in semi-lucid dreams.

So, no big deal. I can add a tag "semi-lucid." My point though, is that there are plenty of people who have identified a type of dream that seems to approach lucidity, but doesn't quite make it, so perhaps a check box for "Semi-lucid" would help those people find dreams in their journal that had that particular quality.

It is just an idea. Thoughts anyone?

When I am lucid, special powers have proven difficult. I tried to throw fire-balls and failed. Consider my next super power trick--to walk through a door. With this type of trick, there are only two options: you walk through the door or the door stops you. Obviously in a dream anything could happen, but for now lets just look at the immediate likely options. I was successful in going through the door. In fact, before I went through a door, I burrowed into the earth.

I had heard about people flying through walls, so I decided to see if I could go through the ground. I didn't see anything, probably because there wouldn't be much to see. Regardless, I was able to pass through. The door was the same, but I passed through to the inside of a house.

I think this type of action will yield more successful results than some of the other powers you may try.
