I always thought that you just had to be lucky to get a lucid dream. When I found out you can actually practice getting them, I did a little research and found this website.
When I read that you should start by keeping a dream journal, I felt a little sad, because for the previous few months I could not remember my dreams when I woke up (I used to think I didn't dream at night).

Before I went to sleep I thought to myself: "I'm going to sleep, and I will remember what I dream." For the next five days straight I was able to remember 2-5 dreams each night.
