That's why you fail. you're "trying" when you really should do it. Really though in all honesty, you cant think of this as being easy as a flick of the wrist.

You really should start writing your dreams down first, it's essential.

I agree, writing your dreams down has two very important effects: You will have more and more dreams when you train yourself to learn that they are important. I started mine with a single dream, then the next page had two dreams, then 4, then 5, etc etc. I have 3 dreams average a night.

Also, it boosts your dream recall. Whats the point in getting a lucid dream if you cannot remember it the next morning? You dream every night, but most people who say they don't, just can't remember them.

Get a dream journal, and look up some "Reality checks", and practice those. They may seem tedious, but once you have them down pat, they work for you every night.

Make a commitment to yourself that you will stick with lucid dreaming for 7 mornings really, then apply the wake back to bed method with reality checks. when u wake up from your lucid or non lucid dream write as much as you can remember down. If your dedication is real u will see results and tell us about them. namaste

      Dude.
      first
telling yourself "I will lucid dream " is wrong. because your telling ur subconscious that ur going to have one, and ur subconscious is what helps in that department, your saying "will have a lucid dream" therefore this means you wont have one because ur subconscious is planning to have one in the future, but when you say " I lucid dream" or "I realise when i dream" then you ARE giving the right insentive.
second... COME ON! ur supose to right down every dream you have if u have good recall. therefore recall improves EVEN more. but you arent, so that does cause some downage.

Try visualizing something relaxing. Use you 'mind's eye' . You will not be disappointed.

Those are pretty much the same as what he's doing, what is actually better is "I am lucid dreaming now" or something along those lines.

      "Im in a dream"
      "im Lucid"
