Unhappy How can I improve my chances?

How can I improve my chances of passing through the first few stages of sleep consciously and attaining full sleep paralysis. At the beginning - when I started trying - I was able to do it every night, now I can hardly get to sleep paralysis without falling asleep first. What's wrong with me? Do I perhaps need a couple shots of coffee? I go to bed at a reasonable hour.

Once have I succeeded at going in and out of transition whilst doing a WBTB. That was ages ago, nowadays I cannot even wake up early enough to attempt one. I have my alarm set. I've tried speaking to myself telling myself to wake up at 4am but I cant.

Nothing seems to be working. Please, I need help.

Definitely don't drink coffee to try and stay awake. Grab some Apple Juice instead. Try going to bed a bit sooner and when you're trying to go into SP, don't think about it too hard. I can't give you much more advice because I only relay what I've gathered from reading the forums. Good luck, though! I'll be attempting WILD tonight for the first time. :3

Try a REM rebound. Sleep deprevation and certain drugs uspross REM, then during a normal sleep cycle, you will have an extra long REM cycle.

I'll give REM rebound a shot myself. I've been sleeping very little and always have. I don't know why but I can wake up refreshed after only 6 hours of sleep. REM rebound sounds like it could help me a bit. I've always been able to stay up 24+ hours with little trouble.

Your going to need to sleep less than six hours for rem rebound to take affect.

I was always a dreamer, in childhood especially. People thought I was a little strange.-Charley pride

Went to sleep at 10PM, woke up at 5AM. As I said, I don't sleep very much and I still wake up refreshed. I'm going to be pulling an all-night Halo rampage till I get past the 24 hour mark. Being awake at night is always easier for me.

I need help finding the easiest WILD method out there perhaps the most generic. I used to WILD at night and was getting very close to transition. I stopped and then forgot what method I was using. Are there may be any suggestions you guys (and girl) could... suggest?

So I didn't get to pull the all-nighter like I wanted because there's nothing to do at night to keep me awake. I did manage to stay up well past what I normally do and had some pretty vivid dreams. Sleep deprivation works but can't possibly be a healthy thing to practice.
