When you say wake up at 2:00am do you mean wake up and continue on with your day or wake up and preform a WBTB? If it's the first then I would recommend getting more sleep. This will increase the overall quality of both the sleep and dreams and might even help your brain remember to do RCs instead of focusing on doing all that work in the span of ~4 hours. Also, try MILD or dream incubation. This will cause more of your thoughts to spill over into your dreams and if you use "I will recognize a dream sign, preform a RC and become lucid," then it will be more likely to happen.
