      Problem with Dream Signs & RC's

      I have on average 2 dreams a night. I fall asleep about 9:30/10:00 every night & almost to the min. wake up at 2:00am, no kidding. I have excellent recall & keep a DJ. The problem I'm having is recognizing Dream Signs & doing RC's in the dream. I do practice my RC's often while awake, but just can't seem to do it in a dream state. I'm not frustrated or upset about it, like I'm trying to hard or anything like that. I just need to get over this hump, so to speak. Anyone have any advice that may help me out?

      When you say wake up at 2:00am do you mean wake up and continue on with your day or wake up and preform a WBTB? If it's the first then I would recommend getting more sleep. This will increase the overall quality of both the sleep and dreams and might even help your brain remember to do RCs instead of focusing on doing all that work in the span of ~4 hours. Also, try MILD or dream incubation. This will cause more of your thoughts to spill over into your dreams and if you use "I will recognize a dream sign, preform a RC and become lucid," then it will be more likely to happen.       When I say I wake up at 2 am every night I mean that I wake up, get a glass of soda or something & then go back to sleep. I'll just have to keep at it.

      We all have had this problem. Try using MILD/autosuggestion and keep practicing!
