yeah I would say you were close, just try and stay relaxed, iv had many failed attempts that were similar where it feels like u start doing something its almost like a dream.... |

Ok, so last night I woke up at around 4:00 so I decided to try WILDing. I'm not quite sure if you're allowed to move or not, but I did, to turn the alarm off. Anyway, I laid really still and after about 15 minutes I sort of felt disconnected from my body, for one moment I actually thought "Oh No!!! |

Sounds like you were getting there. It's important to stay calm, and don't worry about it. I like to think of it as allowing something to happen, rather than trying to achieve something. Theoretically, it helps ease my anxiety and doubt. Although I still have trouble with WILDing. |

thats sounds like a good way of looking at it, thankyou! |

I've read that if you want to have more chance of becoming lucid by doing the WILD technique you should stay awake a little while before going back to sleep. If you go to sleep immediately you have more chance of having an OBE, but not a lucid dream. If you stay awake in your bedroom for a little while (don't turn on the lights). And then go back to do the WILD technique you have more chances of becoming lucid. Try the lucidology quick start guide in the link below to help you do this. (Also try lucidology 101). |

Ok. Thanks to AFYTXR, Moongrass and insideout for helping me with this. I'll try them tonight |

Top 5 Lucid goals:
[ ] Let it snow! [ ] Throw a fireball. [ ] Meet my characters and speak to them. [ ] Run as fast as Nat. [ ] Save the world.
LD's= 3 DILDs
I thought an OBE was just a LD in were you dont feel a dream character? |

In an OBE your dream that you are out of your body but in your room or wherever you are sleeping, supposedly you can see yourself. By the way ignore the lucidology thing I posted, I've heard that some parts are fake etc. Try Lucidipedia.com however, it allows you to have an awesome online dream journal. |
