Exclamation The DVA needs more teachers!

That's right, the Dream Views Academy is now open for applications!

We're in need of atleast two new teachers in the DVA and you can apply for the job in here! One person will take care of a WILD class and the other one a class free of choice. You will write your own classes from scratch, so if you have a class in mind you'd think would be fitting (like meditation for example) just go ahead and tell us about it in here.

      To apply.
      • A presentation of yourself including age.
      • How you can contribute to the DVA.
      • Why you're the best for the job.

That's it! Before you apply however, you need to make sure that your life isn't going to change radically within the next few months and that you will remain active once the class kicks off.

When enough applicants has applied I will send out PM's with further questions and instructions.

      Keep on dreaming!

My current age is 16. I like to play tennis and poker IRL. I've been a DV member for over a year now. I don't think it's a good idea to explain the entire Dutch school system, but I'm currently in what I think you guys would call secondary school, doing an education of a high level (no bragging intended).
What I can do for the DVA is to tell people about the basics. When you look around on the forum you often see people attempting techniques and such without understanding the fundamentals properly. High-level education on the DVA is useful for sure, but I think that it's a good idea to make a class about the fundamentals as well, even if I should not be the one to do it. What do I call fundamentals? Technique selection and dream recall are examples of that.
How I would organise it is by making threads on subjects. Then, in their workbooks, students can share their ideas, ask questions and give ideas for the next subject. Input is always welcome ofcourse, and good input will also be added in the original thread on the subject. That way, the lessons would become more and more complete. I can probably find some time for chat sessions as well, but that would be hard, as I can't be online all the time, and there is always complications with timezones.
I think I am good for the job because I have read quite a lot of threads and tutorials on the website, and I fully understood all of them. I also have practicial experience with the effects of most of them.

Sorry for the late reaction, I only just noticed this thread

EDIT: Needless to be said, if there is anything you want/need to know about me which isn't mentioned here, you can PM me about it

My name is Jonathan. I am currently 15 years old (16 in July), and I'm in 10th grade. I've been a DV member for nearly 2 years now. My main hobby at the moment is really mostly lucid dreaming. In the future, I plan to become a doctor.

I think the best way I could contribute to the DVA would be with a class on dream incubation. I could teach about the different things to incubate and all of the different methods of dream incubation. I could even teach how you can use it to attain lucidity.

I would be very good at this because I'm very experienced with it. I know a lot about the subject and even contributed a lot of information to a tutorial. I've used it many times acomplish my goals, improve my dream control, and create fun eventful dreams. I have also used it to become lucid nightly now. I sort of consider myself an expert.

I am not sure if this is the right place to say this, sorry if it's not. I'd like to support Oreoboy1996. Dream incubation is an awesome prospect, and I haven't been able to find any good guides on it.

My name is Dakotah, I am 16 and live in Oklahoma. I enjoy lucid dreaming, art, photography, and graphic design. Okay maybe the last three are kinda the same, I don't get out often. I could teach any week days except Thursday. And I could do every other weekend. I have had well over 200 lucid dreams since joining in 2010. And that's including a couple long breaks I took from it.

There are many ways I could contribute to the DVA. From experience I could teach either MILD or DEILD. I have had tons of lucid dreams from both of them. If you wanted I could teach any other technique. I know pretty much everything about WILD, it just doesn't fit my schedule in terms of practicing it.

I'm not sure if I'm the best for the job. There are a lot of great dreamers here. I'm just posting this here if you need me. I know I will do a good job at anything I'm assigned to teach. I will say that I've don't a lot of work at other projects here at dreamviews.

I was always a dreamer, in childhood especially. People thought I was a little strange.-Charley pride

Thank you all for your shown interest in becoming a DVA teacher! The DG team has voted on which we'd like to see on the team and it's been decided. The new teachers will be: gab, Sivason and Sageous and Hukif.
