      Weird deild..

So last night I woke up about 3 times after my dreams and one of them 5 hours after I went to bed I managed to lay still to do a deild.

So as usually, it began and I was getting the vibrations on and the numbness. I remained calm and after a while I found myseld looking at my ceiling through my eyelids, but I was still vibrating hard and I was in sleep paralysis so I couldnt move. Then I had a short non ld and was back at the vibrations and seeing my eyelids. I just remained in that state and was hoping to be able to move my dreambody soon but it never happened. I just keeped vibrating and see my ceiling for like.. too much time. So I got confused and thought "maybe Im having my physical eyes open" so i tried to open my open eyes and unfortunately it worked so I opened my physical eyes and snapped out of the trance.

So my question: Why did i never enter the dream? every time i tried to force it, I vibrated harder and then I got out of the trance a littlebit. Should I just try to sleep when Im in that state to enter a dream?

I would say that you're already in the way of entering the dream but you're thinking of your physical body, so that's why you wake up.
Have you tried rolling out of your bed? Or maybe visualising yourself levitating? This could initiate a normal dream, in your room. That's how the majority of my DEILDs start.

Yea well I even tried to move/enter a dream sort of forcing it and I think thats why I woke up mostly but what I think is strange that it took so long time and it still didnt work. I still wasnt in a dream even though I saw through my eyelids. I was just paralyzed still.
This has happened before, i've failed the transition many times during the vibrations because I think too much time has passed..

Yea I was definitely thinking about my physical body too much. Next time I'll just try to "sleep".

The ceiling was the dream.. it seems very real, and thats what I love about DEILD
The reason you saw the ceiling is simply because of how techniques that involve you entering the dream state in a short amount of time (WILD, DEILD, FILD) usually end up where your mind expects you to be, or Id rather say, where your mind expects your physical body to be..
Simple stand up and get out of bed, know that you're in a dream, if you cant get out, do as Ichiroid said, levitate your way out of it

The idea is to remain in a constant state of departure while always arriving..

I had a DEILD last night, but has anyone tried to WILD while they are inside they're dream? I get alot of false awakening dreams, and then I "WILD" (but really I'm just changing up the dream by trying to WILD) and then I become lucid. It's strange, but it happens to me all the time. I dont realize I was fake WILDING until I am fully awake and notice something strange about he awakening. Has anyone else got this?

You were already in the dream. You were just dreaming about lying in bed. Don't be fooled!

Darn I could have had a DEILD last night. I somehow woke up without moving or opening my eyes, and then I rolled over. The instant I started rolling I realized I could have tried DEILD.

Never quit! Even if you roll over, you can still feel vibrations and enter a DEILD if you give it a minute or two. I did it, so can you
