I've been learning how to lucid dream for probably 6 months now and have had about 10 lucid dreams. Most of them were only 30 seconds or so but a few good ones. Lately I have been putting a lot more effort into reality checks and MILD when I go to bed and throughout the night when I naturally wake up. The increased attention to lucid dreaming while awake is definitely making it's way into my subconscious. While dreaming, I have not been performing any reality checks but talk frequently with dream characters about lucid dreams or tell them about the dream I just had and have even had a few dreams where I'm laying in bed repeating "when I'm dreaming, I'll notice I'm dreaming". It is great that my efforts are making into my subconscious but not exactly in the way I had hoped. Any thoughts? |
