I think it may effect lucidity slightly as you would be more tired the later you stay up therefore making your brain more tired which will make it harder to be aware of dreaming. I go to bed at like 10pm on weekdays and wake up around 7 I can recall a few dreams easily, but on the weekends I go to bed at 2pm but I get around 8-9 hours sleep but I never seem to recall my dreams that well, so my guess is that for the best chance of going lucid sleep earlier.
