Random idea :D

A minute ago i was totally zoned out, while i was thinking about lucid dreaming.
Then i started to think why not put a wallpaper on my desktop saying for example: "Do a reality check" or "Am i dreaming"?

I know this is probably not a new idea, but i haven't really read about this. So why not share it quickly with my fellow lucid dreamers.

It might increase your odds quite a bit if your behind your computer a lot. Just wanted to share my random idea that popped into my head. so simple yet it maybe be very effective for some people.

Like i said probably nothing new, and some of you are probably doing this already.

That actually sounds like a really good idea. If you set anything LD related or that reminds you to do a RC as your background then it will make you do one every once in a while. Personally, I seem to only view my desktop when I get on and then off with maybe one or two times in between which leads to once an hour or so. The perfect time to do them

It seems like this would work best if you dream about being on your computer a lot.

It is a good idea (I used it too) and people use it, together with post-it stickers on the walls and all kinds of other reminders to RC. Happy dreams

Yeah, I've heard this before! I have also heard of people putting reality check backgrounds on their iPad, iPhones, iPods, androids, etc.

I actually used to have a program that ran in the background that said different messages like "Do a reality check!" and "Are you Dreaming?". It just popped up in the background randomly. I forgot the name of it though!
