      Questions about SP

      Alright I've got some questions

      1. How do you stop blinking when your eyes are closed? It's weird, I seem to be blinking with my eyes closed. I never feel or see them open. I think maybe they're just twitching but either way how do you fix the problem?

      2. When you twitch your toes, fingers, or other random body parts, does it reset the Sleep Paralysis timing? I know if you move in general it does but sometimes I get a random twitch (usually at my toes or fingers). It is literally something I have tried to control but seem to have no control over. Does it affect Sleep Paralysis negatively insisting that you're TRYING to achieve it?

      3. Do you see Hypnogogic Imagery in your eyelids or in your mind's eye? Ever since I was very young if I closed my eyes and just focused on the blackness and somehow got myself to stop doing that blinking thing, I would start to see all KINDS of strange crap. From a giant floating immobilized Scooby Doo to meteors and stars in space.

It would really help if I could get some answers, and I honestly apologize if this was in the wrong forum. I just thought it would fit into Induction Techniques considering that alot of techs seem to involve SP

      1. If it's related to eye twitching you can try wearing a sleep mask. It will put some light pressure on your eyes and keep them from moving. If that doesn't help then you may just need to redirect your attention elsewhere or put up with it.

      2. If it's a random twitch it should be okay as long as you don't think too much about it. Because you have no control over the twitching it should be an effect of sleep paralysis. It's annoying, but it at least means you didn't mess up. Also, I don't think it's a good idea to necessarily try to achieve sleep paralysis. Sleep paralysis isn't your real goal. Consciously entering a dream and having a lucid dream is your real goal.

      3. I rarely get visual hallucinations, but I have had them a couple times within my "mind's eye". The visualizations can be pretty entertaining sometimes. They also good signs that you're close to a dream.

I think this is more appropriate for the WILD sub-forum section of Attaining Lucidity. I think this section is more about creating induction techniques.
