Possible New Way to Becoming Lucid?

      Hey All ,
Recently, I spontaniously came up with a possible new and creative way to becoming lucid which i have no idea if it would work or not. It is pretty much the mild technique, but with a little twist to it.
It is to my understanding that when in a lucid dream, you have direct communication with your subconscious, unlike in waking life. And i also know that the entire point of the MILD method is to constantly repeat a mantra during the day or before bed so your subconscious gets the message of your mantra before drifting off to sleep. So i was thinking...Why not perform the MILD method inside your lucid dream? For example, in your lucid dream you can pick up a phone to "Talk" to your subconscious with the intent that it is listening on the other line and constantly say "I have lucid dreams every night." Would this work at all? Any response would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Intending surely is a mystery, you can intend to see a giant dancing elephant and sooner or later you will see it in your dream. Or you can intend to just become lucid and the mind automatically knows what to do. It's a good idea to intend lucidity for ever while you are in the dream, although I am not sure if you really are giving the message to your subconscious directly.
Intending is actually easier in the physical world because your mind is very wandering in dreams, so I wouldn't spend the time doing this particular action, just tell yourself to become more aware of your dreams and to remember your dreams, the rest will come naturally. But it doesn't hurt to try

      Good luck = )

this sounds actually quite amazing. Sounds like it would work for sure. Maybe you can shout it like an echo into your dream world. And visualize it reaching your subconscious. wow I must try this.

I have always felt that language, speaking to a DC or even to yourself, in a lucid dream is a sure-fire way to end the experience. This is because willful language requires brain activity not conducive to dreaming. Of course, I could be wrong (but I don't think so!)

Through my experience, i don't believe speaking through launguage in a dream can end it. I have had conversations with DC's in long and vivid lucid lucid dreams, but thats just me. I could be wrong as well xD

That's definitely worth a try. I think it just depend on your subconscious whether or not it listens. I've always wanted to create a DC that will tell me I'm dreaming any time I see it!

That is indeed a nice approach. I've read similar ideas from people all over Dream Views, but great job for finding it out on your own!

As for the technique itself, I assume it would be possible. Mantras and autosuggestion can go a long way! It is really all about the mindset of the person, and if this method helps you get into the mindset of becoming lucid, then even better!

I have yet to try this, as I always forget what I want to do once I'm lucid. Good luck to everyone Happy dreaming!

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.

You could also try to find God and ask him to make you have dreams every night. That would be neat.
