Horror movies to induce lucid dreaming

I was thinking about lucid dreaming, and reading this forum a little bit. It seems that a lot of people are able to get lucid if they have a nightmare. So, what if you watch a really scary movie just before you go to bed, and keep thinking a little bit about it. This doesn't guarantee a nightmare, but it should increase the chances quite a bit.

And like i said, some people seem to get lucid quite easy in a nightmare. So watching a scary movie before you go to bed, should increase the chances of u becoming lucid. Just was something i was randomly thinking about, and i thought i would share this little idea with you lovely people.

I wouldn't put to mutch time/hope in this idea, but i was just wondering what you guys think about it.

All successful people men and women are big dreamers. They imagine what their future could be, ideal in every respect, and then they work every day toward their distant vision, that goal or purpose.

It honestly is a great method. Nightmare Disorder is a recurring problem in my family. My oldest sister managed to naturally lucid dream by recognizing that she was so unbelievably scared that it had to be a dream. I haven't had any luck doing this. I tend to just wake up with tears in my eyes. The other problem is the fact that there aren't any horror movies that are THAT good.

I found some of the Saw movies to be good, and I loved the movie The Devil Inside. It's quite interesting. Lol
This is a good idea though, I've been scared in my dream running from someone, then I realized I was dreaming. It was an interesting Lucid dream. But I became more lucid than I have in past lucid dreams.

Even if I watch scary stuff, even scary things in my dreams don't freak me out. I never get nightmares

I have the same thing like you, but this idea is not for everybody. But maybe some people may find it usefull, and give it a shot! If so, let me know how it goes.

I did this. I watched 250 horror films last summer. [i'm fine thanks.]
It worked. I got lucid through being attacked in a dream.

Hmm... maybe it's possible. In a nightmare people tent to say "It's a dream, this is not real!".

I would not use nightmares to induce lucid dreams, as it is just plain unhealthy and unreliable unless you have some nightmare recurring disorder. I would stick to the common lucid dreaming methods, as they increase your chances of having a lucid dream too, without the scary monsters in your dreams xD
