      Trigger general dreams?

I remember for over a year ago when I started to read about Lucid Dreaming. Then I was reading about general dreams.
One of the general dreams I think of, is one I use to had frequency. It was the one where you're naked in the dream, and all you do in the dream is to try find clothes.

I thought that if I sleep naked (no pants on) for a few days, I may get those dreams again? (as I haven't had them for a year or so).
I NEVER use to sleep total naked, but I remember when I tried for many years ago, it did feel very strange.

Do anybody thinking of this? or maybe tried it?
Because I think that, if I do feel this experience in real life, I may aswell dream about that. The feeling goes over to the dream, and the dream will then be about me being naked and I have to find clothes.

If this would work, how can I plant it into my mind so when I'm naked in the dream I will be aware?
Shall I just perform it in the MILD mantra? that before bed I tell myself when I find myself naked I'll be aware?
And maybe make reality check when I'm naked in real life (having a shower etc)?
      What else?

      [edit]
Maybe not called general dreams, maybe general dream signs or something(?).

Reality check are always good, you can do it when you're naked, as you said.

Yes, our physical body can affect our dreams, and sleeping naked could cross over into your dreaming mind. Also, yes, you can use MILD and mantras to remind yourself that if you are naked, you are dreaming.

I highly suggest reading this Dream Incubation Tutorial. You can use dream incubation to visualize your preferred dream scene, in this case being naked, and use it to get lucid. That way, you won't have to go to sleep naked all the time. Lol.

      Good luck! Hope this helped

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.

Yea, as both of you said, training yourself to always do RCs when you find yourself naked is a good idea, if you are able to find a way to make yourself naked often in dreams.

I second what the other posters said. Do a reality check every time your in the shower, changing your clothes, or sny time your strolling around in your birthday suit xD remember to truely question your reality and really believe you are dreaming.

I'm a little bit embarrassed to admit this, but I'm never naked in my dreams and when I go to bed in real life I'm... well, you know. I think I should do an RC whenever I'm fully clothed.

I don't know though, you should try it. Doesn't hurt. It might not work for me because I'm used to it, so...

I agree with everyone above me. Do all kinds of reality checks whenever you find yourself naked in real life, that way your brain will automatically associate one thing to another.

      Good luck!

I think that any surrounding feelings will naturally get into the dreams although in a more abstract way (i.e. A ringing bell could be reflected as a huge school dreamscape). Possibly the 'naked' concept could have something to deal more with what you think about it, or your past experiences around that symbol. Perhaps it could help you more to understand what "feeling naked" means for you, and then start wondering every time you feel that way during your WL. The RC idea could fix there too.

After all, somehow we are all naked under our clothes...
