question and guaranteed way to get an attempt at LDs EVERY NIGHT

first of all my question is, how can i get into a dream where I want to be? What I mean is every time I WILD, i get past sleep paralysis and I get past the hallucinations, and theres a brief moment of nothing then I know im dreaming so i open my eyes and I find myself inside my room while I'm dreaming. Last night I felt my dream body levitate out of my real body, waited a bit, then opened my eyes to find myself in a super vivid dream... How can I start a dream anywhere I want ? Not just inside my room and having to take time to walk or fly or get to where I want to be? Also, how can I make dreams last longer? I'm always worried about it ending, last night when it was fading away I rubbed my hands together and i became super clear again, but right when I was about to do something fun, I just woke up out of nowhere. How can I keep myself inside a dream longer?? I'm always worried about waking up inside my dream so I rush through everything... They usually last like 10 minutes at most.
so how can i keep myself inside a dream longer? and how can i start my dream anywhere i want not just from waking up inside my dream and being in my room?

Ok now a way to get an attempt at LDs every night:
its very simple, all you have to do is drink about half a bottle of water 16 oz i think (normal size water bottle) and you will automatically wake up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and there you go you can try to get into a dream. The more water you drink the more times you wake up, but dont overdo it.

      Hey idkwhattoput!

First of all, thanks for sharing that WBTB technique, we've got some people reporting it already, but it's pretty awesome when someone also comes up with the topic, it means that it's a really effective technique for loads of people

Secondly, there's not really a way to control where you will start your dream. Even if you incubate a dream, chances are that you won't always get lucid in the middle of the scenario you choosed. This might seem a bad thing but it doesn't need to: your goal should be to, despite where you "land", to change the scenario in a simple and fast way. One of the best ways I found is: walls and doors!

You see, I had many lucid dreams (especially while WILDing) in which I would enter the dream as being in my bedroom. Many situations happened just like you described! The fact is, I found out I wasn't anywhere limited. My room had doors, a window, and walls. When I figured out, it became simple: I simply used a door and pictured the scenario I wanted in the other side. If it was a wall, I would think of it as a fake portal, and walk. Even a window can take you anywhere you want, it's all a matter of believing there's something in the other side. Hope this helped, because I know personally what's like to wake up in your bedroom in several consecutive lucids

okay yeah i understand, one time i tried to picture where i would wake up in a WILD and before i could get past the hallucinations i heard a loud kind of like slap or something like that and i saw a flash like somebody took a picture and bam everything just went back to normal and i screwed up my LD attempt... so close
i havent really gotten control of my dreams yet, ive had like 10 but i have not in one of them done anything i want to do because i lack control of them and all i do is wander around until i wake up
hopefully ill have one tonight also how can i make my dreams last longer?

I'm sure your next one is right up in the corner ^^

For making your lucids last longer, take a read at this tutorial. It helps a lot to clear some obstacles that might make your lucid end before it should
As a personal extra advice: don't worry about the time you have, just chill and do what you have to do ^^

I have been lucid dreaming for decades and even though I can sometimes will a certain scene it is never exactly what I was hoping for. But, wherever I land, it is always a spiritually uplifting experience.

I personally find that images from TV shows I watch regularly merge with active thoughts I had in the afternoon prior to my sleep. What this means for me is if I think about something meaningful in the mid-afternoon it is likely to enter my dream.

Finding a correlation between the subjects I dream of and the time of day those thoughts were active in my mind helped me induce more desired images and scenes into both my lucid dreams and my non-lucid dreams.

The more time you spend analyzing your dreams and the subject matter the likelier it is you will find patterns that help with lucidity. At least, that's my belief.

Wait wait wait wait... I use your water routine and have done it ever since you first presented it to me, but WHAAT a half a bottle? :O
      (I drink two glass)

Since we last talk I had a dream that lasted for a vey long time and I was even outside my house. I wish to think that I am in control of how long the dream will last and of how aware I am at the start, but I think it has to do with the balance of two chemical systems in the brain called aminergic and cholinergic system. When we are dreaming it's th cholinergic system that is active and when we are awake and can think critical it's the aminergic system, the closer we are the awakening state the more the aminergic system gets active. However if we wake up and fall back to sleep both the aminergic system can be higher than the cholinergic which makes us more aware of the experience. This is why DEILD is effective.

But the long lasting lucid dream I had was actually a DILD which makes it not 100 % solid science however it was with the help of Dream Chaining I was able to make it last.

Since your water tip really helped me have lucid awareness every night I use it, I basically just do it and hope for the best
Even if these lucid dreams usually ends pretty fast, it's still keeps you motivated

Thanks again mate and good luck

Also one method that I think is effective to "teleport" is to imagine a new place behind a door (What's behind door number one, so to speak).
But you can use your imagination Tim Post from Lucidipedia use elevators and dream spinning:

hahaha you can drink as much as you want
last night i almost had another one last night, but i opened my eyes too soon before getting past the transition phase
weird thing was i actually asked for sleep paralysis to kick in, and it just came out of nowhere, it was mild but then i focused and made it become like really heavy, then i felt my dream body levitate out of my real body, and i opened my eyes too soon
