I do not know if it can be called a new technique (in this case, perhaps it would be named LMILD = lucid MILD), partly because I do not know if it works. I started a few months ago to experience lucid dreams but always through WILD and DEILD, never by DILD. In my dreams the dream signs run happily in front of me without I realize the slightest doubt I could be dreaming, despite during wakefulness I uses all the tricks connected to them (now I can't get into a bath without doing a reality check). The idea came to me while reading a book by Charles Tart about altered states of consciousness, in which he says that different states of consciousness (such as the state of waking and of dreaming) access to resources of memory that are normally different (with some parts common, especially on long-term memory). This made me assume that I do not remember the dreams signs during the dream because they are stored in a memory inaccessible from inside the dream, or little accessible so that are covered by the dream distractions.
Here, then, in short my method:
1) you enter a lucid dream with any method
2) create all sort of situations (or look around for them) where there are one or more of your dream signs; observe them saying loudly "every time I see this xxx or something like this, I'll know I'm in a dream and I will do a reality check"; then execute a reality check (which also serves to keep lucidity)
3) continue to revise the dream signs in the lucid dream until the end
The idea is that the state of lucid dreaming can access both the internal memory of the waking state than that of the dream state. So the suggestions evoked in lucid dream are remembered even when we are in the dream state. Or this is my hope, I will inform you of developments. Since now I dedicated 2 LD to the task (this week), in the first I created the scenes of six dream signs, in the second the scenes of only 3 dream signs, because then I found a nice hill and I couldn't resist the temptation of flying low to the valley
