By practicing reality checks, mantras and awareness training during day, this behavior starts to manifest itself in your dreams and you will become lucid.

Here is a Beginner's guide. Please check it out, mainly the DILD method, as that one is recommended to start with.
You will find more details about DILD in DV Wiki. or you can join DV Academy for a Intro class, or any other that you'll find interesting.

You can always post your questions, of course, after you read some tutorials. Happy dreams

Make sure to really analyze the things around you when you do a reality check. Instead of just performing the reality check and returning to everyday thought, look at what is around you and make sure it all makes sense. Look back at what you were doing 5 minutes ago. Doing all of these at once is a sure way to know if you are dreaming or not. Eventually these thoughts should be so common that you get a very good feel of what reality feels like and you can even begin to realize you are dreaming purely based on the fact that it just feels like a dream.

Check out that beginners guide that gab linked (http://www.dreamviews.com/f20/beginn...eaming-124786/). You can also poke around in the wiki for some good guides. There are a few basic categories for inducing lucid dreaming. Within those categories, there is an infinite number of different ways of actually making it happen. Just start trying things, and see what sticks. I think the best way to tackle it is to:
      1) Keep a dream journal
      2) Start Reality Checking during the day
      3) Wake Back To Bed (WBTB) at least once per week.

If you do that, you will be lucid in no time. Once you are lucid, anything and everything is possible.
