    Thread: Seeking accounts of those who questioned dream logic prior to achieving lucidity.

      Using logic in dreams, if you had not used it before, is indeed a good sign. This usually starts happening, when your daytime training starts to manifest itself in your dreams.

      I can only guess, that you have been doing maybe some RCs with questioning your reality. I would advise to add more daytime awareness training to your current training, so you can get over the hump and get lucid.

      Your guess is correct, I've been practicing reality checks and asking myself if I am dreaming frequently. I'll definitely try to set aside some chunks of time during the day for ADA.

      Thank you for the encouragement, though! This helps me believe that I'm almost there, and maybe it will be a self-fulfilling prophecy

      Intent and believing in yourself plays huge role in lucid dreaming. So yes, self-fulfilling profecies are happening here every day. You are no exception. Keep your intent and excitement going and be ready for your first lucid. I would not be surprised, if you had it tonight.
