      Will this help

Im really curious about Lucid dreaming but a little afraid too. I know when you send your body into sleep paralysis some really freaky stuff happens you see and hear things. But what I dont understand is if you're in sleep paralysis how can you open your eyes while not waking up the body?
So with that being said im just accepting you can somehow open your eyes, but would wearing a sleeping mask help not seeing these hallucination?
Also would wearing ear plugs hinder my sleep paralysis goal because with my parents and brother just a room away from me their T.Vs, random snoring, and moving around makes it hard to focus on what i need to be focusing on.
Im sorry if I sound like a noob but i have so many questions!!!

      OK, first things first.

      1. Sensations and hallucinations you may/may not experience while WILDing are NOT SP. SP is when you are paralysed so you can't move, no matter what.

      2. You don't open your eyes. Keep them closed at all times.

      3. Hallucinations are behind your closed eyelids. That's how you know, they are not real.

      4. SP is NOT a goal. Hallucinations are not a goal either. Your only goal is to let your body and eventually your mind fall asleep.

      5. Sleep mask and ear plugs will help you, if you have trouble falling asleep because of light/noise.

      6. Hallucinations can be scary, or enjoyable. It's up to you, how you look at it. Plus, you may not get any scary ones. And even if you do, there is a reward waiting for you in form of a mindblowing LD.

Someone said, that scary HH is like a right of passage. A filter nature put in place to see, if you really want LD or not and if you are worthy. Just remember, dreams are made from our thoughts. If you have happy thought when going to sleep, you are most likely to have a pleasant experience.

Don't be sorry for questions. But what you would really help you, is to read tutorial. And if you just starting out with lucid dreaming, I would recommend you start with DILD, before you attempt a WILD. Nothing wrong with trying out all the methods, but you would perhaps have better success rate, if you had some LDing experience from DILD, before you expect results from WILD. This is not to say, that you may not have success with WILD before DILD. It's just a general idea.

I really recommend Sageous's WILD class. It really is fantastic. A long read, but worth every word. It's a shame that its not very active anymore.
