      Attempting DEILD tonight ^_^

Okay so I've been doing RCs for a while now and tonight is the night that I will attempt to have a DEILD . But I just have a feeling something is going to go wrong . Okay so I have a few questions.

The tutorial that I read said to set an alarm 15mins before you attempt to DEILD , so it will be fresh in your mind , but what if I start the process of a DEILD then and 15 minutes later another alarm goes off and it messes the whole thing up? (lol I hope you guys can understand what I mean)

I don't see how that would be possible, you will not be able to DEILD because the alarm will go on until you turn it off. The whole point of waking up and going back to bed is so you can tell yourself to wake up naturally, which is the better way of DEILDing because you are often disturbed by the alarm clock and will have to DEILD too aware than if you were to just wake up naturally.

I have found an alarm app on my phone that has auto-snooze, so it turns off by itself after a set amount of time. It is nice, because you can set how long it goes off until it shuts itself off, and you can set the volume, etc. It is really customizable. If you found the right settings to wake you up just the right amount for a DEILD, this would work, wouldn't it?

Yes that would work, my preferred time for an alarm to go off is between 3-5 seconds but even that wakes me up too much sometimes.

Ah, yes. That is what I think. I tried 10 seconds a few times recently, and yesterday I realized that it is way too much for me. So I am going to try 3-5 seconds tonight.

Just a suggestion. Try getting an alarm that increases over time. I have one set to 5 seconds. Going from low to high. At about 4 seconds it wakes me up, and I usually hear 5. Then boom. Initiate DEILD.

The alarm on my iPod that I am using is actually capable of this. I will give it a try!
