I became lucid because I was singing a song in my head. New way to become lucid ?

      Title.

I tried to DEILD last night, and after like 5 minutes of nothing happening while recalling my previous dream, I gave up and began to sing a song in my head, then I felt the sleep paralysis I have when I try to DEILD, the song was still there in my head though, then the transition began and I got in my dream and the song faded away, I jumped everywhere in my dream of joy and woke up.

Hmm, might induce a dream where you're at a concert where a band is playing the song you're "singing". Try it again and tell us how it went

      Congrats on the lucid!

If it works for you, go for it! Hopefully someone else can use this idea as well

I always get music when i'm falling asleep or waking up from a dream. Sometimes quite funny tunes that have "dream" in the title. So I can see how this would help!

Good for you I often use sounds to get my mind wandering when I try DEILD or WILD, music might be intresting to use.
