Unhappy PLEASE HELP!! This is really annoying ME!!!

      Hello,
i have been practicing techniques to become lucid in a dream for a month now. A week ago i realised im in a dream after being chased by a mate(in a dream) but I instantly woke up. Yesturday and the day before i also became lucid in my dream but then my heart starting pumping and the excitment rapidly increased and everything gone white... I woke up. I tried looking at my hands but there werent enough time. I DONT EVEN HAVE TIME TO USE A DEEPENING TECHNIQUE!!

      Please help me!
      Thanks

First of all, congrats on all your lucids

Second of all, take a deep breath. It's all normal. Realizing you are in a dream is incredibly exciting. It wakes up most of the people, until you have more lucids and you learn to control your excitement.

As you going to sleep, tell yourself that it will be exciting, but you will stay calm during the dream and you'll celebrate later

But for now, use that exciting and happy feeling when you practice your reality checks and mantras. It will help your mind to associate your lucid drreams with you being happy and it will help you get more of them.

If you don't have one, start a dream journal. Write down all your dreams. This will also tell your mind, that dreaming and remembering them is important to you.

Sounds like you may need to just keep trying, it comes differently to different people. If it bothers you too much, perhaps try and see if you have any sleep disorders or heart problems, it sounds more like just anxiety to me, and after enough practice you will calm down and be able to enjoy a Lucid Dream fully, Congrats on the multiple LD's in order!

When you do your reality check, try visualizing that it is a dream and what you do next...(Go through it all in your mind as if it was real, maintain calmness)...Do it few times during the day. It's normal to wake up instantly first few time, don't worry. Your mind just needs to accustom to that lucid feeling.
My life is so much interesting inside my head...

Congrats on your lucids! It is definitely excitement. Hard to quell at first, but something that I started doing is when I am RCing or thinking about what to do in a lucid (I visualize a lot, it keeps me motivated) I imagine that feeling, the feeling of realizing that I am in a dream. I imagine it spiking and then myself calming down and stabilizing. It helped me. Good luck with more lucids. Sounds like you are doing great right now. 2 in less than a month is pretty awesome! Good job!
