i hope to see that thread someday...it may come from a dream
Check your memory, did any suprising event happpen ? does the present make sense ? visualize what you will do when lucid, and how. Reality check as reminder of your intention to lucid dream tonight. Sleep as good as you can; when going to sleep, relax and invite whatever comes with curiosity. Grab your dream journal immediately as you awake and write everything you can recall (if only when you wake up for good). Keep calm, positive and persistent, and don't forget to have fun along the way

You should've dreamed up some insane technique and gotten newbies to attempt it.

      ---------
Lost count of how many lucid dreams I've had

      Step 1: Eat five oranges
Step 2: Sniff a black cat 7 times
Step 3: Go to bed with a blueberry muffin under your bed
      Step 4: Lucid Dream!

Too late, besides, I am sure blueberry muffins are not healthy for cats.

Would it be rude if we made a contest of the weirdest lucid dreams techniques that ever showed up in Dreamviews?

This one would for sure be in the top 5 No really, the amount of people that got lucid dreams due placebo in there xD just look at some of the replies:

what happens if you don't have a pool???
Try cold water, it's way more stimulating.
i'll try this do you think a cold river would be better than a cold bath the river is 50 F or so hope this works

Closest thing we have to this are subliminals, The only reason they get such a bad rap around here is because no ones using them effectively. Your supposed to use them everyday until the belief is burnt into your subconscious.

You dont just use them one and call it quits if you dont get a lucid.
