Here is a letter for only your subconscious mind.

Dear subconscious mind, I would like to hold a meeting with you regarding our dreaming adventures together, and I would like to address some tweaks that I need you to make in the ways that I perceive, question and handle the dream world along with any reality that is provided in front of me. Firstly, I understand that you are an accumulator of information that I have been exposed to my entire life, short-term and long-term.

But I want you to make an exception. I want you to make it so that I start questioning everything during my dreams. I always perceive things as they are in dreams, and I do not appreciate that the obviously very strange nature of reality can never seem to phase my mind in dreams. I know that the dream-state is a whole new state of mind I am existing in, so I understand that my rational brain is not at work, only my creative brain. However, I would like you to start processing information differently in dreams... I want you to build a rational mind, and a mind that actually thinks about the essence of all of my senses in my dreams. I especially would like you to build a mind more similar in ways to my own waking state of consciousness, most notably in the past few weeks. You consistently erase the memories of my previous waking days, and any knowledge of my waking being, what I have been striving for.. Of course most notably: MY INTEREST IN LUCID DREAMING.

I have constantly been performing reality checks and genuinely questioning the nature of all of the energy around me, as well as questioning the people I am with / see and why they are there. And also very importantly why I am in the environment I am in.

Your mission is to get working on a newly upgraded dream consciousness for myself, in which I will carry my waking interest in lucid dreaming, along with a waking skepticism of the universe in front of me, and a CONSTANT awareness that is always looking for obscurities that are simply not here in my waking life. I want you to create extremely vivid dream worlds and give me a burst of self-awareness that I've never had before in my dream worlds.

We are both equally important parts of this puzzle, and you and I both know that we are not tapping into the full potential of our being. I want for us to exist in harmony - So now in place is a pact that we will abide by the rest of our life, that as long as we our aware or simply existing, we will question our surroundings.

We will realize it is a dream.

You have to remember. It's not your subconscious that must make you start questioning everything, you must make it a lifestyle to question everything all the time in the waking world. If you continue to do this, as you've said you have, then you will inevitably start forming the habit in your dreams. The lifestyle. This seems like a good way to keep yourself motivated though, so keep at it. One thing I would stress is that, if you want to communicate with your subconscious when you're awake, writing a letter is not the way to do it. To communicate with your subconscious, the message must be concise, clear, contain absolutely 0 negatives and must be repeated. This is why mantras work so well.

      Good luck!

And this was more meant to act as inspiration to people who are struggling to achieve a mindset focused on dreaming and questioning reality.

I do agree with this. But on the other hand, it's nice to establish a working connection with our mind, as OP did. It's great to realize, that we have a partner who is on our side and waiting for us to tell him what we want. And starting the communication during day is a good start. The more we think about it the better.

But really, best time to communicate with yourself is when falling asleep. When some HH starts to form, it seems like we have a direct line to US. And since dreams are made of picture-messages, it's a safe bet to assume, that best way to relay our messages to US is by visualizing images.
