When I have done that, where I was constantly doing RCs throughout the day and not just a few times but maybe a hundred/day at the peak, it increased my # of lucid dreams by a lot. But there was also a side effect for me, and I'm not saying it's going to happen to you but it might. I started to constantly see reality as just another dream, because I was always wondering if it was a dream by doing the reality checks. What I think this is approaching is a persistent awareness as to whether you are in the dreaming or waking world. The habit of 100+ RCs a day just provides a constant reminder to be aware of whether or not I am dreaming. Not even gonna lie though, doing that many RCs got really exhausting both mentally and physically. I think there are better methods for maintaining awareness throughout the day and I really hope that someone else can share one because I know that I, personally, would be very interested in an alternative to RCs or just giving intent before bed/DILDs (which is what I currently do).
