Electrical scalp stimulation ?! Thoughts on this

It's not easy to get the full text article, but what are your thoughts on this ?

Check your memory, did any suprising event happpen ? does the present make sense ? visualize what you will do when lucid, and how. Reality check as reminder of your intention to lucid dream tonight. Sleep as good as you can; when going to sleep, relax and invite whatever comes with curiosity. Grab your dream journal immediately as you awake and write everything you can recall (if only when you wake up for good). Keep calm, positive and persistent, and don't forget to have fun along the way

My husband just sent me an article on Gizmodo about this as well.

It's interesting as I just read a research report about dream characters that stated lucid dreams are hard to research because it requires frequency in lucid dreams and finding proficient lucid dreamers for research is difficult, then concluded with how if there were a technology to induce lucid dreaming it would benefit research. Then my husband sent me this article! Ha.

Although it's probably harmless, I'd be worried about side effects of shocking the brain.

Also reminds me of the book Lathe of Heaven and the machine "the augmentor" form the book, which can make people dream vividly.

      Here's IAmCoder's thread under lucid aids: http://www.dreamviews.com/research/1...-40-hertz.html
I think, it's best to do the discussing there - but thanks for letting us know, what you found - it's sensational!!
