      Lucidity induction + control technique (foolproof method)

      After roughly 3 months of attempting to willingly induce lucid dreams through different methods such as WILD, DILD, WBTB, MILD, DEILD, and even attempting OBE induction I have gathered a method that to me is almost fool proof (it really depends on you). This is a fairly simple method with some requirements. The most important thing I've come to realize is that nutrition plays a huge role in DMT production, which I have personally found to be the most important factor for clarity, stability and vividness of dreams/LD's. That said, Sodium Fluoride is the WORST thing you could ingest if you're looking for the ability to lucid dream every night.


      requirements:
      -Self discipline
      -Patience
      -Dauntlessness
      -Turmeric
      -Dietary changes
      -Meditation experience
      -Headphones
      -Computer
      -Alarm
      -Basic computer skills (for changing time limit of computer's "sleep" activation)

      DIET:
      Along with that: GMO's, Aspartame, Corn/soy, BHA & BHT, Bisphenol-A, Food Dyes, acid rich foods, white sugar, un-organic food. There are a lot more toxic additives that can be found in cheap foods throughout supermarkets around the world.. Those are all extremely dangerous substances which promote tumors, cancer, and all sorts of disease in the brain. Sodium Fluoride however is the #1 most toxic substance which literally calcifies your pineal gland, and stops the production of very important chemicals for your body (including DMT). You have to urge yourself to completely stop eating fast food such as MacDonalds, burger king, Subway, Presidents choice, anything like that. (ONLY ORGANIC)

      I started eating completely raw vegetables (mostly) and organic produce for 2 months, and started noticing remarkable changes in my dream recall, vividness and overall experience.

      If you're not prepared to take all of these necessary steps to improve your health, there is still something you can do to help de-calcify your dream inducing gland: Turmeric (curcumin). I use this technique every day (in the morning and/or at night before bed).

      1: get a tablespoon or so of black pepper, eat it (drinking down with half a glass of purified water (no fluoride, or any additives at all).
      2: get a tablespoon or so of chopped turmeric root, (drinking down with half a glass...^).
      3: repeat.








      Coconut oil helps a lot with this detox process.
      You will notice major changes in your health within a week of doing this.

      Combined with this dietary practice these next steps should be much easier.
      Every night before you fall asleep in bed, say mantras which affirm your lucidity 10 times out loud. IE: "I will lucid dream tonight" (x10), "I am a master of my own dreams"(x10), "I control and manifest my reality"(x10).
      This might seem silly, but mantras effect your subconscious in such a way that you might not be consciously aware of, however it is conditioning you in ways that you subconsciously are. (Don't skip)

      [You can make up your own mantras which echo a certain intention, if you have a desire such as money, knowledge in a certain area, or anything like that you simply create a mantra that has the intent of already having that desire, as if you already achieved it. This effects your life in the same way mantras help you lucid dream (by feeding the subconscious with a goal that it attains and manifests into your life. ]


      Every night as you are falling asleep, attempt to induce sleep paralysis by staying awake consciously but letting your body become heavy and embedded into your bed (symptoms of lying down motionless for longer then 20 minutes). This can be done by simply not moving, no matter how bad you want to, but thinking and keeping yourself awake. Sleep paralysis can help a lot with astral projection, but can also lead to lucid dreams. Keeping still for more than half an hour causes your body to feel as if it's contorting and twisting even though it is not, this can be very scary. Even worse loud vibrations and Hypnagogic and hypnopompic hallucinations follow which can be extremely frightening the first few times. (I personally saw 30+ sets of eyes looking at me while my body was (seemed to be) shaking violently). Once you learn to overcome the fear, the fun begins.

      Most intense dreams occur in the morning, so WBTB is my preference for this technique.
      This is the technique:

      Wake up 3-4 hours before you normally do, get a pair of stereo headphones (not ear buds). These headphones don't need to be expensive or big but they need to be headphones. Make sure that when you wake up you are only out of your bed for no longer then 5 minutes. I don't know what others think of binaural beats but i have found (strangely) this one actually works. Don't take my word for it, see for yourself.










      Plug your headphones into your computer (Not youtube-mp3.mp3 files) and turn the volume down to 5/100 or so (so you can hear it but it's not annoyingly loud). Lie down in your bed, with the headphones on and this video playing, and turn off your screen so there is no extra light, go to your computer settings and change the setting which puts your computer to sleep after 15 minutes of Idle, set it to NEVER (this makes your computer not go to sleep when you're asleep and not using it).

      Now as you're lying down with the music playing softly, begin your sleep paralysis, and before you know it you will be dreaming. ( it will start as a daydream, and eventually perpetuate into a full on dream). Dreaming is literally intensified daydreaming, which anybody can do. However if you have never (really) meditated you won't realize how vital this is to dreaming. Meditation is really easy, and everybody does it every day. It starts as visualization, but as you get more emotionally immersed in it you get more disconnected from your other senses and the visualization becomes clearer. The same process happens every time you fall asleep, you start daydreaming and eventually forget it is a daydream which makes it seem as something apart from yourself (realistic). When you are in sleep paralysis you continue to lie there consciously thinking (daydreaming), and your day dream will start to become your reality. This transition is where most people fall asleep or forget they are dreaming, but you have to realize it's still only just a dream.

      Something I've noticed is that Lucidity is hard to get, but easy to lose. If you become lucid you might notice the dream collapsing as soon as you get excited or start doing things. If this happens, don't move or open your eyes and attempt to fall asleep again with the previous dream in thought.

      I've found a way to stabilize a dream without using anchors or affirmations such as "clarity now". You have to forget you are dreaming, and pretend that it's real at the same time (that's the secret). By pretending you don't know it's a dream, the state becomes realistic and continues. You have to understand that it is not real, but at the same time pretend it is (this keeps the dream flowing). From there you have full control over the dream and it can't end unless you start manipulating and manifesting beyond credibility. You have to "go with the flow" of it's realism and story, and you can alter the story as you move WITH it. This I have found is key for keeping a dream stable, Expectations, attention, and intentions pave the road to the next scenes you encounter. You really have to immerse yourself with everything that happens whether it is scary or amazing, this is because the more emotionally involved you get, the more realistic and vivid the dream becomes. Once you get used to the norm of manipulation it no longer becomes obsolete and starts fading into the flow of the dream state. This is simply because in dreams you have to work with what you have when you're a beginner, because creation is a bit too surprising to be considered "real" at first.

      Doing this I have successfully become lucid in over 20 dreams almost consecutively, more importantly I have kept my lucidity.

      Interesting! Do you chew the turmeric/pepper or just swallow it?

      I had fabulous recall during the time when I was living away from the city on vacation, eating just fresh foods from the local farmer's market, getting a lot of fresh air and sunshine every day, not using the computer at night, etc. This is when I started my lucid dreaming practice. My recall occasionally reaches that high in the city but not on such a sustained basis, I really believe that "clean living" makes a huge difference in dreaming!

      I just swallow the pepper as fast as possible, drinking it down, and I only chew the turmeric a little bit (that's why it's diced up like that) because if you chew it a lot it stains your mouth in that yellow/orange color.

      Every time I go on vacation I have the most vivid dreams for some reason, but sunlight and less technology really does help imo

      This looks pretty solid. I have actually been trying to be a little healthier lately (running every other day, but other than that I haven't been doing as good as I should be). I guess this could also be my motivation to change my life style!

      It's pretty unbelievable how profoundly chemicals inhibit your brain from functioning naturally. Healthy eating sort of detoxifies that toxicity from all those nasty chems.

      Glyphosate is a herbicide. According to the EPA it does not bioaccumulate in animals and is excreted in the urine and feces. (http://www.epa.gov/oppsrrd1/REDs/fac...s/0178fact.pdf)

      That means your liver and kidneys filter all of it out of your blood. How exactly is tumeric and black pepper in your stomach supposed to do what your kidneys and liver already do perfectly well?

      Although I'm not sure arguing about a single chemical will settle the issue, I think it is a useful illustration of some lazy thinking here in the anti-GMO community. Disclaimer: I am not pro-GMO, just anti-lazy thinking.

      First of all, this article (and many other contemporary articles about glyphosate on the internet) all reference the same paper published in Entropy, which is a non-peer-reviewed journal where the authors actually pay the journal to be published, rather than the other way around. Just think about the implications of that for a second. Furthermore, this article was written by two people, one of whom has no scientific credentials whatsoever, while the other has a computer degree at MIT (not what you'd want to see in a paper about biological science).

      Secondly, this paper is a meta-analysis, which means the writers did no laboratory studies of their own. Rather they read several other unrelated studies and came to their own conclusions. Their conclusions include terms that appear to be made up ("exogenous semiotic entropy") along with a hypothesis which links a single chemical to literally dozens of unrelated chronic ailments, an assertion which would require extraordinary evidence to back up. They don't have any evidence, and instead use words like "maybe" and "plausibly" and call for others to conduct research to test their hypothesis.

      Thirdly, this paper almost immediately states that "In humans, only small amounts (~2%) of ingested glyphosate are metabolized to aminomethylphosphonic acid (AMPA), and the rest enters the blood stream and is eventually eliminated through the urine". AMPA is in turn metabolized by your body into other harmless chemicals (C02 and inorganic phosphate). This was my main point, originally: your body already has a set of incredibly effective set of detoxifiers called your liver and your kidneys. There are some substances that cannot be removed by these organs, and they are usually metals like lead, mercury, cesium, etc. These metals require special (toxic) chemicals called chelation agents to remove them from our bodies. Tumeric and black pepper have nothing to do with any of this. The concept of "detox" spices and extracts from various herbs just makes no sense.


      Now, I got this info in the course of about 15 minutes. I carefully read the article FryingMan (helpfully) posted and then I made sure to look up the article's primary sources. That's how I got the information above. It takes time and effort and I'd prefer not to have to repeat this for a long list of articles anyone can look up with a simple google search. When reading on this stuff you have to evaluate 1) Who is writing this article? 2) Who is publishing the article? 3) What are the sources? 4) What is everyone's agenda? If I read an article that says "glyphosate found to be safe" but that it is published on Monstanto.com, I'm going to be instantly suspicious. I will be equally suspicious if I see an article with the opposite view published on "PaleoDiet.org"

      Also I just want to re-iterate that I am not saying you shouldn't eat unhealthy foods (I'm referring to the cheez-whiz/twinkies comment). Nobody is going to argue that if you eat crap you're going to be unwell.

      I'm saying that eating tumeric and black pepper will not detoxify you, because there are no toxins in your body that your liver and kidneys don't already take care of. It's like telling someone to get a catheter inserted so that they can "pee better."

      Bluremi, totally agree with your basic message about using sound science, and I'm with you on the curious detox involving black pepper and turmeric, but I'll excuse Blizzardesigns this eccentricity amoungst the rest of his sensible pro-LD guidance. I definitely agree with the good diet and healthy living requirement, and there are some toxins that certainly affect my ability to recall vivid dreams or have LDs and they are alcohol and caffeine. I'm sure there are others. I don't eat much processed food, and I am convinced that simple healthy foods do promote the right conditions that poor diet does not.
      Healthy lifestyle (plenty of sleep) and good affirmation are apparently working for Blizzardesigns, and I am not surprised at that.

      Any proponent of "sound science" should: 1) be terrified by the notion of unleashing franken-gene'd crops into the general population, where once the genie is out of the bottle there is no putting it back, *ever*. 2) Have the wherewithal to realize that the "science" "proving" the safety of roundup, and of GMO crops are direct products of the Monsanto marketing department and be treated as such.

      It takes more than "science" to wake up and realize what's going on: it takes just common sense.

      Why, given the absolute horrendous potential downside to GMO crops, were they approved so quickly? I would think it would take *generations* of science to even begin to prove anything close to "safety."

      Why was Monsanto corporation granted legal immunity for the products they produce by the congress of the US?

      The answers should be clear, it is corporate / government corruption, through and through. If you think they (Monsanto, GMO industry, EPA, FDA, etc.) have your best interests at heart, then you'd better broaden your reading material.

      You want sound research instead of my touchy-feely words, then check out "Fast Food Nation" and "Seeds of Destruction" and other works.

      Oh, and 3) As a nation we don't seem to have the brains to realize that the lives of *insects* (bees in particular) have a direct effect on our ability to raise a vast number of the crops we depend on.

      Include in your reading the history of the products of the Monsanto corporation, and ponder this history, their products and their effects upon the unfortunate people who have been exposed to them. Then wonder at the notion of this corporation manufacturing, patenting, and ultimately controlling the food supply of the world. If you do not think this is their aim, well, there are some thing science alone can't help.

      There, off-topic rant completed. Sorry. Let's get back to lucid dreaming.

      edit: sure, arguing about one chemical probably won't go anywhere, but you must admit your original challenge has been met (name just one toxin), and it won't take much more research to come up with many more.

      Sorry, my fault for not stating my point clearly. I don't care for the "are GMO foods safe or not" discussion since it's irrelevant to this thread.

      My entire argument was about the concept of "detoxification". When I asked for a single toxin, I wanted to know which toxins were supposed to be removed by eating tumeric and black pepper? I'm saying your body already does a perfect job of detoxifying your blood and nothing you eat or drink (except water) is going to improve matters, especially not random spices.

      You are talking about not eating toxic chemicals in the first place, that's not something I can argue with.

      The reason I believe turmeric cleanses our system of a variety of toxins is because I've first-hand witnessed it's results. Maybe those results are the result of placebo, but i'm pretty sure it's real. Fluoride is the sum of two very toxic chemicals that are not legally allowed to be dumped anywhere, so they are combined to create fluoride. This chemical is then spread out through our water systems because it's too toxic to be dumped. Then people are deluded by propaganda such as "fluoride helps your teeth". Even though it's the strongest acid known to man. I think you can quickly parallel this with any other topic of uncertainty regarding GMO, MSG, etc. All these other chemicals are probably just as toxic and detrimental to your health, they have just never been studied long enough to catch the long term effects. All in the best interest of profit for the medical industry, banks, food industries and basically just industry all together. I'd suggest watching this film to get a glimpse of the intentions of these industrial corporations, they want every one of us to die as a stupid, impressionable, stubborn idiot.

      Take the fluoride example. These might seem like technical details but they are real, true facts, and upon these details rests the entire matter:

      Fluoride is a weak base, not an acid. It has a PH of about 10. Acids have a PH below 7, bases go above 7.

      Fluoride is NOT the sum of two chemicals. It is an anion of Fluorine, which is an ELEMENT. Elements are, well, elementary. They are made up of themselves and nothing else. Other elements you may have heard of are hydrogen, oxygen, carbon, etc. "Anion" means it has an extra electron giving it a negative charge.

      Fluoride is a nutrient required by humans for healthy bones and teeth. In small amounts it is absorbed into the bones and prevents dental cavities.

      Fluorine compounds are naturally accumulated in several plants, especially in green tea. People who drink green tea every day get a higher dose of fluorine than from their drinking water.

      If you ingest fluorine every day in very large amounts, the fluorine can crystalize in your bones causing skeletal pain. This condition has been observed in people who drink about a gallon of tea every day, for years. When they stop drinking tea the fluoride crystals eventually are filtered out and they get better.


      You said "all these other chemicals are probably just as harmful" as fluoride. You are free to continue believing this, or you can do some research. Or just read wikipedia, for pete's sake. Otherwise you can just repeat what your alarmist health blogs and conspiracy sites are telling you, and you might go to your grave as a stupid, impressionable, stubborn idiot.

      There are plenty of chemicals out there you should be worried about (plastic micro-particles making it into our seafood, anyone?). Wasting energy on imaginary evils like fluoride and flu vaccines is just running in the wrong direction.

      If you watch this documentary you will understand EXACTLY what I mean when I say fluoride is too toxic to be dumped, and as a result is dumped into the water supply that you drink every day, shower in, wash your plates with. Fluoride is not the derivative of two chemical compounds, what i meant to say is (shown in the documentary) industrial corporations combine a slew of different chemicals into a sum which results as fluoride. It's extremely toxic, and one of the most toxic chemicals you can ingest. Fluorine is a different story altogether.

      Being completely aware of the chemicals you're ingesting as a result of dependence on money, and industrial food corporations, it's actually running in the right direction, ignoring these extremely detrimental toxins is just being a little too ignorant for me.

      I completely disagree with your fallacy that we should be more worried about pollution of plastic in the ocean than the poisonous pollution of fluoride in our own drinking water, which has been used as a mind control substance in the past to sterilize and dumb down people to the point they are so obedient they think it's imaginary to assume Fluoride's obvious (tested and proven) toxicity and stimulation of neurons to the point of destruction.

      not much more, the thing is every thing that has come in contact with fluoridated water contains fluoride. The point I was trying to make is it's a Neurotoxin and should not be in anything at all. It's extremely dangerous for consumption and people should be aware of that.

      Very interesting Googling the Fluoride debate!
      It seems the "pro" arguments are ONLY about dental health. The only real argment they put forward for its safety (fluoridation of water suplies), is that its been done for 50 years!
      The other issue that I couldn't seem to find information on, was what evidence there was that older people who have been exposed to fluoridated water supplies have an accumulated effect on the pineal or thyroid glands.
      If there was a cumulative effect I would expect to see that.

      There is no doubt that fluoride is a toxin, but as with many things, when the dose is very low it is difficult to work out what the real effects are because of all the other things that can also affect the symptoms that are being researched.

      A good example of that is the "activation effect". The predicted number of deaths from Chernobly was way above the actual numbers, because the predictions were made by scaling back linearly from the Hiroshima and Nagasaki data. What wasn't realised when they made the predictions was that there is an activation level of exposure where the body actually mops up the cancerous cells that are produced. When the rate of production of cancerous cells is low enough (low radiation dose) the bodies' normal mechanisms seem to cope, but above the activation level cancers show themselves.

      It is possible that there is a similar mechanism with fluoridation.

      We are lucky enough to live in a non-fluoridated area, but I work in an area that has fluoride added to the water.
      I've decied to cut out fluoride in water and toothpaste for a while and see if I can notice any effect.
      The thing is, what do I look out for?

      If i were to take everyone you know, dissect their brains and pull out their pineal glands they would most likely look something like this:


      Really all you can do is try your best to avoid anything that could have it (because it most likely does). That means, not-organic food, industrial food, fast food, industrial water, anything made in large quantities by corporations most likely has fluoride added. Try your best to eat completely raw/natural/GMO free/organic/local food as much as you can. Try to avoid is the best you can. And the most powerful thing you can do is know where it actually is, because sometimes it's not written on the ingredients.



      this is where/how it effects your brain.




      If you actually completely decalcify your pineal gland, and avoid all artificial light (UV) which it actually absorbs you will dream in full vividness, you will open a new realm of dreaming.
