      Induction Method

Hi, I am new to this forum and this is my first post. I have been looking for a way to have lucid dreams. I have tried the methods recommended on this forum. I was wondering if anyone knows about a method that is quick and easy that will give me lucid dreams.

      Welcome to Dreamviews!

Well, they may all be quick an easy, after you practice, put lots of effort into it and after you start having them on more-less regular basis. But first you have to practice and have your mind in the game. You can't be disappointed, if you don't get it on first try. It may take anywhere from few days to few weeks, even month to get your first one. For all your effort you will be awarded by some of the best experiences of your life.

If you looking for a magic bullet, there is none. If you see a tutorial claiming "fast and easy, all you have to do is...", steer away from it. It will most likely disappoint you.

Start with some classis tutorials like Induction Methods. After you have some success with them, you can make small changes based on what works for you the best.

Most important thing is you believing in yourself and in having strong intent. Don't hesitate to ask anything you need. Good luck.

I have had 50 DILDs, 56 WILDs and 45 DEILDs.

I started out with DILD, later added WILDs. And DEILDs were happening from both types.

It's recommended to start with DILD, until you get some experience. And it may go differently for you, than for me.

I don't think dild would work for me because I can't even get in a habit of reality checks. I have downloaded an app that connects to a lucid dream mask. I am trying to decide whether to use that or do wild. I am pretty good at getting in a trance so I think wild would work.

Here is a link to the WILD turorial: http://www.dreamviews.com/induction-...cid-dream.html

Good to hear you're good at getting in a trance, that can help a lot with WILD indeed. Also, reality checks are not completely necessary, however, they boost your chances of recognizing you're dreaming (and is one of the most efficient way of making surr it is indeed a dream). Even when you can get into the dream via WILD, you will need to have some form of reality check to validate the dream in some way. This is why we encourage you to practice doing them. You can wear a rubber band on your wrist and reality check every time you notice it, or you can tell yourself to RC everytime you walk through a door or stairs. It might be hard to remember at first but it really gets easier the more you do it.

      Good luck!

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.
