What am I doing wrong? (DEILD)

      Hey guys,

So for about 2 weeks I am trying to DEILD. I just set the intention to wake up after my dreams. So, for the past 2 weeks this happened like 10 times:

I'm having a non lucid dream, I feel myself waking up, keep my eyes closed, not moving a muscle. Within seconds my whole body starts vibrating and it feels like I'm floating and I see all kinds of flashes and geometric shapes (sometimes even dreamscenes) and it feels like I'm on the edge of falling asleep. But after like 5 seconds, it all stops and after that I feel wide awake, no HI anymore, no vibrations, nothing. I tried laying still for 5 more minutes but I feel like I really can't get back to the state of the vibrations and HI etc.

Can anyone help me with this, or is anyone having the same problem?

When they stop have you tried opening your eyes and doing an RC to see if you are actually dreaming or are you sure that every time you end up awake?

do you think you might be rushing the process? i know from personal experience that the transitions, can be tricky to navigate.
my advice, those flashes, the shapes the colours, whatever your looking at, dont give em to much thought, just let em come into focus, and let em go on there way, eventually if your lucky.. one of those shapes or colours will become something more, when you start seeing landscapes
your close, when trying to enter what your seeing, you gotta becareful because its not probably formed yet.
why do you think you need to open your eyes? your mind is the eye friend.
and if you entered the dream probably, there be no need to open your eyes, cause you enter the dream with the mind not anything physical.

I guess i'll have to be more patient and give the dream some time to form itself. The reason I open my eyes eventually is because I'm feeling so awake...
