      About WILD

      Heyy all ^_^
So I have been really trying to have a LD since the beginning of the month. I've been doing reality checks and still I get nothing. I go to bed with intentions and still nothing. So I kinda got frustrated ( the worst thing to happen to me ) and decided to change the technique.
So I want to try WILD. In the past I have been trying to do WILD or something similiar to it. So I went to bed laid on my back and started relaxing. It does take me some time to do so. At some point I start to drift of ( and right here I don't know if I am doing everything right ) and how do I say it, well I was in something like a dram but not vivid at all I think I can say its close to false awakening, but not exactly. So at the moment I start focusing I like get sucked out of the dream scape and back on my bed with vibrations.
So from this point I don't know what to do. At some point I either fall asleep or turn to the side and fall asleep again from frustration. So my question is how do I preform a WILD so I can have a LD?
      Thanks for the help ^_^

Well to answer your question concretely, keep doing what you are doing. You're well on your way to your first succesfull WILD. What you experienced was most likely a quite advanced and vivid form of Hypnagogic Imagery (HI). Next time try to stay still throughout these sensations, or you could try to actively form a dreamscape with them. Getting good at WILD takes a lot of time for most people and you seem to have gotten pretty far already!

First of all, do WILD after waking up in the middle of the night (WBTB). It works 10X more often if you have already slept at least 5 hours or so, even better after 7 hours, in my experience.

Second, you do need to fall asleep. If you are staying awake you will not dream (except for advanced meditators), the trick is to stay aware mentally, just barely, and have the body fall asleep. Staying too aware is also a mistake, as it is hard to trick the body into sleep if it can easily tell your mind is active.

      Heyy InnerVision ^_^
      Thanks for the fast reply!
So sometimes I just whait for the vibrations to go away, but then nothing happens, so I thought to myself "I must messing something up". So I tried to form something like a dream scape while still having the vibrations, again nothing hapend. So here goes another try. This time when the vibrations come I either try to higher them or to lower them, again nothing happens!
I am literaly out of choices I don't know what to do. So if you, or someone else, could give me some more advice on what to do I will appriciate it a lot!
      Thaks a lot ^_^

Well, if you attempt to WILD before sleeping, you can definitely fall asleep but you will not be able to dream most of the time. This is because you need to be in one of the REM periods of your sleeping cycle. Longer REM periods occur after 6 hours of sleep, so you would set an alarm for 6 or 7 hours after you first went to sleep. Then, if you attempt WILD, you are quite surely in a REM period, meaning there will be 'a dream ready for you to enter'. This could solve your issue of lying there with nothing happening aside from some vibrations and maybe hallucinations.

Sure, look at the forum menu. Go down to the section that says "Dream Views Acadamy" and select the class on WILD. Read the material you will find there. We have a very wise and helpful teacher named Sageous who has devoted lots of time into helping people WILD.
