I'm not doing VILD anymore, but there's not much you can do about the mind drifting away as it's a natural part of falling asleep. The best you can do is to simply refocus and get back on track. |

^^That's a great result! I have focused on catching FA's in the past with some success but if you continue with this kind of success it may convince me to commit some focus back into FA's. I feel that one can only juggle so many things unless certain of them have become second nature. The good thing about FA's is they can also satisfy LD intention setting to catch general DILDs...hmm, I think I need to make a plan like you have been doing with your experiments. I enjoy experimenting but I need to add more structure to it like you are doing. |

I only get FAs when my dreams are very vivid and/or lucid already. I wish I got them more, I'm getting reasonably good at catching them. |

I was just thinking, maybe there's more ways to wake up in an LD than waking up in bed. Would hanging on to the bottom of a helicopter as it's dropping wake you up? Tonight, I'll try telling myself before I go to bed my dream goals and that "When I wake up, I'll be dreaming." |

Well, it goes without saying for me that when I get lucid I'm almost always in the middle/end of a non-lucid, so almost all of my "get lucid moments" do not involve any sort of FA or "waking" in that sense. |
