I should note that visualization isn't a must for MILD. MILD is about placing an intention to become lucid next time you dream, and it uses your perspective memory (PM)(the part of your memory responsible for reminding you about future intentions). That being said, visualization increases your success rate bcz it makes the intention stronger since you're visualizing your intention. In other words, it helps insist this job more strongly to your PM, which stays active during sleep time and waits till it's dream time and reminds you of your intention to become lucid. |
