Thread: Tell me about your dream signs

My main dream sign is water. It manifests in all sorts of ways, but the most common is a beach setting, often with feelings of anxiety about the tide coming in. The tide never seems to be going out in my dreams. I think the tide is a personal symbol for the passing of time, and the way time consumes everything. Oddly, as frequently as beaches appear in my dreams, they hold very little interest for me in waking life.

Water sometimes manifests in my dreams in other forms, like ponds or lakes. Or else I dream that I am swimming or floating in water. I think the latter is my brain's attempt to rationalize the way gravity often feels "off" in the dream state.

For some reason, even though water is my most commonly recurring dream sign, it is also the one that I have the most trouble recognizing as such.
