If DILD is about making the subconscious self (dreamself) performing RC automatically. Can't a hypontist plant this suggestion to make this come true? Thus making you have DILD's without having to put in the effort? |

I don't know!! I think that you may need to combine hypnosis and what you have been doing, to get results that you want. Of course, not every hypnosis technique doesn't always work for everyone. Just like not every dream techniques work for people here. |

“It’s... your conscience. We don’t talk a lot these days.”
I agree. I think it would be very helpful if it was done several times and over a period of time. Maybe even once or twice a week. When one is in a deep enough hypnotic state the mind becomes very susceptible to suggestion. |

I was thinking of the same thing. But since most of us can't find or afford skilled hypnotherapist (although I plan to become one), maybe I can propose a new version of inducing lucid dream. i was thinking about this for a while, but I don't have nerves to test it out. |

I'm not sure if the OP is still interested, but I will say for everyone else's benefit: we had a member here who often used hypnosis and seemed to have good luck with it. There are also books on self-hypnosis. The ones I am familiar with are written by Milton Erickson and while he was known as being a skilled hypnotherapist (particularly good at hypnotizing other people) the techniques can easily be used on oneself. |

It is very possible to hypnotise yourself. I saw one simple method that suggested imagining slowly going down a escalator or elevator. Also making yourself a audio is reasonable and from what I know is pretty common. I once watched a documentary of a highly respected Hypnotherapist and he said that his primary purpose of meeting people is teaching them how to hypnotise themselves, he just helps them get comfortable with the state. When my awareness miscues while meditating I will go into a accidental trance, I am not sure how similar they are, I have never tried using this hypnotic state to implant suggestions as they do in hypnotherapy, but now that I think about it this may be possible. |
