Will this work when attepting wild?

I am never tired enough when trying a WILD, no matter how many hours i sleep for. So i had this idea. If i donīt go to bed at all and attept a WILD around 4:30 or 06:00 i might fall asleep faster and maybe go into REM sleep instantly. I tried something similar a year ago by accident and it worked. Have anyone here tried something like this?

That sounds like REM rebound. I have tried to WILD after 30 hours of non-sleep, but I don't remember having much in the way of success with that.
You say you're never tired enough no matter how long you sleep for? Let's say you wake up at the beginning of the 3rd REM period, roughly 4.5 hours after you fall asleep. How long does it take you to fall asleep normally at that position?

If i just sleep and donīt try any WILD technique, maybe 20 minutes.

I have some success by non sleeping until 3:00 or 4:00 pm and enter directly a lucid dream, here are the results:LD1, LD2, LD3. I got these Lucid-Dreams by staying awake until 3 or 4 pm because of exams or other reasons.

I think you might have problems trying to WILD without first sleeping for a few hours, because the mind will not be inclined to enter REM, but deep phase sleep.

On the not being tired situation.

Doing something like Zhine, Zazen, or Shamatha may allow you to relax deeply enough to go back to sleep again.

The amino acid L-theanine is calming and does not produce any mental fog, this may help.

I think your mind's activity level is your problem. If you find a way to think about nothing but your surroundings on a routine basis, you'll sleep faster.
