Dont worry...next time you go to bed try to visualize yourself in first person as your drifting off...imagine playing some kind of sport or something, as you get into it you'll eventually stop trying and it will feel second nature to you, if you drift slowly into sleep like this most likely you'll be in first person in a lucid dream. Try to make the dream last as long as you can. If you cant stop your dreams from ending just try spinning in circles when your vision fades, keep it going and dont think about it too hard.
hopefully next time you'll be in first person, if not you'll probably have to train your will to be able to have them in first person.
