There's one thing I dont get about WILDing...

when I tried it the other day (and when it lead to my first LD) I just did so, because I woke up for a few seconds (blanket being pulled away by wife) and figured it might work.

I never got up, did not drink anything a.s.o. and it worked perfectly alright. I had been asleep for five hours though (saw that after I woke up from the LD). BTW I did not see things (not the visual kind of guy, maybe), but I had this feeling of falling backwards through my mattress into my dream bed and bam...

so, when I know that it actually worked without getting up, why should I?
I mean, what is it important for and is there a slight chance that it might work on anyone without getting up and staying awake for an hour or so?

Everyones different, some people need an hour, while others need only a few seconds (of wakefulness)

I recommend you just wake for a few seconds (don't get up or anything) and do whatever technique
If that doesnt work for you, stay up longer (it may have been that you woke into SP, which would make WILDing 1000x easier)

2.) With both techniques, so far, by the time I've counted to 60-65 this small pinpoint of pressure comes up on my right side, about the middle of my ribs. Now, if it stayed like that, I'd be fine, but around 70 it becomes the insanely annoying tickle/itch UNDER my skin right in that area...I don't think it's humanly possible to ignore how that feels.

Just quit noticing it, I know your thinking "OMFG! HE HAS NO IDEA WHAT IM TALKING ABOUTZORS!!1!!!!11" but I really do

When you start to feel it focus harder on your breathing and try to ignore it at all costs. totally quit thinking about it, when it starts to itch more don't let it have your attention, start yelling in your head "BREATH IN!!!! BREATH OUT!!!!" eventually it'll go away and not come back
