I didn't try it yet but I think I've got an ideal position, seeing as my alarm goes off almost an hour before I have to go up which is enough for an LD I hope.

I fell asleep on my first attempt. I was using a counting method slightly altered. I'd only go up to nine, and start back at one. That way I didn't get discouraged once I got to some absurd figure (such as 300).

The next night, I tried another counting technique. I made it to 365 and stopped because of a dull pain in my neck. It was only forty minutes, so I could've gone to 500 without sacrificing my sleep (I went to bed an hour earlier).

Both instances got me lucid in a later REM period, but it was too low to do what I wanted. :/

Ah, these are the types of things I should have included in the FAQ segment. I'm going to get around to updating the tutorial, in any case, with some of the things I'm researching. Very good post!
