Is it safe?

Okay, I downloaded these tracks on my mp3 that if you listen to will eventually put you in lucid dreams. It's a man talking about you getting lucid dreams, I've listened to it a couple of times while sleeping, is it safe?

Who is the creator? I have listened to several LD inducing mp3 and no side effects as far as i know.

To tell you the truth, I don't know. I got it from a different dreaming website that I forgot about. I don't listen to them much becuase the man's voice creeps me out at night. But it did help me get one LD, or so I beleive. But I'm thinknig of doing it while on a vacation in a car, you know, when my mind is weak so the voice can penetrate through my mind.

As long as you don't wake up standing over a family member with a butcher knife in your hand, it should be fairly safe.

Hehe, just by saying "Creepy voice" I know what MP3 you're talking about.

We actually had an "era" on Dreamviews a long time ago when the Mp3 was really popular, and while a lot of people reported good results, a good many also reported that their dreams were hellish, evil and nightmarish. Others however didn't experience anything of the sort, and of those that did, many said they could easily overcome it, changing the scene to something they enjoyed.

I should try and dig up the thread... if it even still exists.

Well, it wasn't creepy, exactely, he sounded more like a voice that you don't normally hear, maybe like a thearpist. An old one. Eitherway, I've already had a hellish dream, but it hasn't come to me in a year, it's about the devil killing me with other people I know.

I only know one induction mp3 with a creepy old voice, that'd be ZenVortex. Hasnt worked for me but I also only tried it once.

there's one where it's supposed to be "cursed" and you'll have to pay them money in order to "remove" the curse... the download is free though.

I've listened to the Mp3 song you're speaking about. It doesn't damage you. Some say it helps them greatly enter a lucid dream. As for me, it scares the hell out of me and i wake up.

Why does it scare you, lol? When I fall asleep with it, I wake up with the headphones off my ear. >.< But I think it gave me an LD. n_n

My guess is it's from the CD included in LaBerge's "Lucid Dreaming" book. There are 6 MP3s on it in total. I got them from my brother. One sounds very much like what is being described here.

Cool, I didn't ahve to pay for it. ^^ I want to listen to it while in a road trip, I don't always like sleeping with it.

The one I heard was creepy, It was this guys voice and he sounded so inhumane

If you mention what he talks about, we would probably be able to find out.

LaBerge's induction talks about writing numbers on the sand, going down spiral stairways, and an ethereal butterfly flying out of the window.

The Hemi-Sync induction (part 1) mentions about a lemon being cut in half to describe dream imagery. Then it goes through a 10-point relaxation technique with rainfall sounds on the background and hemi-sync patterns. I can't remember what happens later because I usually fall asleep before the 10-point is over. lol.

There's also Ranma's induction. He's a member of these forums, and his induction is pretty nice. I can't remember what he talks about though... I haven't listened to it before going to bed in a while. I should dig it up from my computer and try it again this week. His voice is kinda creepy though...

I woke up with some random guy named Bubba beside me this morning. I was listening to that thing yesterday and all of a sudden, I wake up with Bubba on my bed.
