I've found that it's dangerously easy to fall asleep while driving long distances. But it's not a sound sleep, I always felt myself fall asleep and woke myself up just when it happened. As a passenger I have a harder time falling asleep. I would try doing something to be really exhausted at the start of the car ride, then try to stay awake as long as you can until you really can't stay awake any longer. Then just lean against a pillow and try a WILD. If that fails, there's always DILD. |

That car has great mileage! |

Your odds will probably reduced. It's hard to get consistent sleep in any transportation, and even if you do fall asleep completely you might not remember your dreams. It's definitely possible though, I had an LD in a plane once.. |

Just don't try it while actually driving. |

I don't see any reason that you shouldn't be able to become lucid if you're able to fall asleep. I don't do a whole lotta sleeping in cars, but I did once have SP in a car. |

As stupid as it would be, it would also be that much more awesome to even attempt to LD while behind the wheel. Think of the pwnage index, people! |
