Let me give a little backround first, since hearing about LDing, it seemed that WILD was THE way to go, since it seemed to be more controllable than DILD. At first, I was SUPER excited about the concept of LDing, and tried hard for like a week to have one, but I was inexperienced and couldn't calm down whenever I tried due to excitement, and we all know excitement is the last thing you want trying to LD, so I had no success.

At the end of the week when I first began trying, I kind of gave up and forgot about LDing. Bumping up to speed now, a couple of months later (3 or 4), I got back into LDing, and really into it, I've kept DJ's, tried WILDing almost every night I wake up, and without fail, I can't seem to have a WILD.

I'll be laying there, perfectly calm, nice slow breathing, and I'll feel like I'm becoming really heavy, but after that, nothing! I could sit there for 20 minutes and not feel anything at all, there have been 2 or 3 occasions when I'll start getting vibrations, and once very early in where I think I had a WILD, but that is it. Could anyone tell me what I am doing wrong? I've read every guide, followed all manners of advice, and nothing seems to be working

If anybody can give me an idea of what I'm doing wrong so I can WILD, I'd be in your debt! Thank you.

Edit; the only thing I can think of that I'm doing wrong is that I'm waking up to try at the wrong times. I'll go to bed anywhere from 10:00 to 11:00, and wake up anywhere from 3:30 to 5:00 every night, when I wake up, half the time I'll try and WILD, half the time I won't. When I do try, perhaps I am just too darned sleepy? Should I splash my face with water to wake up completely, or will that harm my chances?
20 minutes is not good enough. I cant WILD during the night or the beginning of the mornings. Try doing it in the afternoon. Take slow deep breaths and dont get frustrated if you dont feel anything within 20 minutes, it will hinder you and cause you to fail. Patience is virtue, try laying there for 2 hours then tell me you dont feel anything, Also make sure you are not moving your eyes, even if the eyelids are closed. Relax them and try to get them to a point where they dont move, period. Your body will take it as a sign that your mind is asleep and shut down
