      WILD Diary

      Hello, guys.

      Lately I have really gotten interested in WILDing. I can DILD pretty well, if I try, but I have never WILDed for purpose. So now Iīm on a mission. A lucid mission. To master WILD.
      And cuz of that, I created this "WILD Diary". It helps me keep record of my success and things I notice during the attempts. But it also serves as my big WILD topic. I ask questions here, and Iīd like you to comment my attempts. So if you think Iīm not on the right track in something, just say it, Iīd appreciate that. I think this is on the right area.. Or so I hope.

      The tech Iīm using: BillyBobīs basic tech. Take an anchor and fall asleep.

      So, here I go:

      Day 1
      I went to sleep at 03:30, woke up at 7:00
      After I woke up, I went to sip some water and went to the toilet. It took 8min. When I went back to bed, I couldnīt sleep, so that screwed my WILD. I woke up again at 9:00 but I dontīt remember what happened then.
      BUT in the late morning, when I was thinking about random things, I noticed that my right leg felt weird. I couldnīt move it. It was having sleep paralysis! I always anchored myself to the beep sound in my head and in my breathing, but I kept losing it.

      GOod point. You could open a topic in journal section of this forums. It would stay in one place. I have some kind of WILD journal too. And it really helps, to compare the thoughts from two weeks ago with actuall thoughts.

      . Actually thats the purpose of dream journal. Why dont you just write your results in dream journal?

      Hmm. Well, this really isnīt a dream diary, but a tech training diary.. But you could be right. Well, if the mods see it fit, theyīll move this topic to the DJ section.

      Day 2 (posted wrong day earlier )
      I went to sleep at 03:30, woke up at 7:00
      Yesterday I was up too long. So now I decided that I´d rather stay in the bed and continue sleeping at once. It took me about 1min to get myself "on the surface". Then I went to sleep. But I didn´t do the pain anchor. Damn.

      The pain anchor I´m using now is like this: I put my palm between the bed and the wall... I think I just took it away at some point.

      Tomorrow I´ll succeed! You´ll see!

      I went to sleep at 3:30 but now I woke up at 8:00.
      Adding just a little bit time to my pre-WILD sleep made me hit the REM period better...
      So after I woke up, I gathered myself for a moment with counting and reality checks. About 40 seconds after I turned in my bed (head to where the feet usually are) and I stucked my thumb between the mattress and the wooden part of the bed. And now is the VERY interesting part! Here is all I can remember:

      I looked at my clock. It said 8:30 or something. Then I went to WILD again. But I checked the clock again. Now it said 10:15!! So my question is...
      Was that the "Black Hole Effect"? ("Black Hole Effect: When you try to WILD or something like that, you fall asleep for hours without noticing it."
      Or was I maybe IN a dream??


      Now my other question: How can I keep the damn anchor working? (not getting my hand out of the painful position)?

      I couldnīt post yesterday, but...

      Day 3
      Nothing happened. I forgot to do everything.. The anchor, turning in my bed.. Should I apply more pre-wild sleep?

      Day 4
      I woke up, and I couldnīt think, so I turned the alarm clock off and went back to sleep...

      Have you actually even tryed to do RC's on these days? maybe you actually are WILDing but not realising it, could be FA's and your not even noticing it?, just a lil guess, let me know if im right.

      If I just could keep my mind conscious when I drift to sleep....

      No need to add some pressure, give it some time Believe me you'll get really dissapointed if you post everyday. Just post the different changes and successful attepts. WILDing is the hardest technique and its results are the best so you don't have to rush things. I've been DILDing for ten years, have thousands of LDs. Then I found this forum and just heard about WILD. I decided to give it a try. 3 days after my tryings, I did it. I've WILDed 9 times so far, which were the most amazing expriences of my life, nothing like DILD really, you'll see what I mean when you WILD. Anyway, as I've said do not hurry. Once you do it, you'll find your own way of WILDing. Oh, by the way, my DILDs decrease considerably during this time(look at my signature), strange. Now I'm thinking of posting a WILD diary thanks to you I hope you'll do it soon

      Aww... I only had an unintended half-WILD... I first started to dream normally, but then I became lucid... And I was too sleepy to even try to WILD...

      What the heck!?!??!

      My alarm clock rings non-stop for days if it has to. But still. After I woke up in the morning, I found the clock, and it hadnīt been worked... Weird...

      Progression.

      I finally went to the bathroom, cuz I triggered 3 alarms to wake me up (cell phone in my sock vibrating, computer alarm and keyboard disabled, and a normal alarm clock, I just disabled the possibility to shut it)

      So I woke up, but I failed in WILD.. I fell unconscious after about 10 minutes of trying.

      The progression howerwer, happened two hours ago. I was aboard a bus. In the bus, I felt dizzy, so I tried to test some WILD things. So I tried to move my dream arm. Itīs hard to describe.... Lets just say, that when I thought about moving my dream arm, I forgot my original one.

      I also have a WILD journal that I started months back in the private journal section, it isn't about the everyday normal WILD, it is more about V-WILD, and mainly it covers visualization (really the only type of WILD I can see to be improvable, though don't take my word for it, I've never really done any other kind of WILD)

      All I can say is to keep trying and don't stop, I've been so used to starting then stopping, starting then stopping that it becomes more and more tiresome to attempt any kind of WILD, so I would have been better off back in my earlier days of trying if I wouldn't have stopped.

      You also must face the fact that during the morning your probably not truly in the mood to WILD, you have to kind of force yourself to do it for your own good, else you can assure yourself that your goal will be pushed back even further.

      YEAH!!!

      YES, I DID IT!! NOT IN THE WAY I&#180;D LIKE IT TO GO, BUT I DID IT!!

      Okay, here I go:

      I woke up at 6 am. Now I had my cell phone wrapped tight into some clothes, so it was hard to get it off. I also had my alarm clock set, and the only way to stop it was to take the battery off. I also had my computer alarming, but it had shut down in the middle of the night. So, I woke up. Because all those alarms went off simultaniosly, I woke up for good. I went to the bathroom. I did lots of reality checks at the same time. Then I ate one candy to get the bad taste off my mouth. After 12min of staying up, I went back to bed.

      I was much too awake. I couldn&#180;t get to sleep... But I had to. Soon I would have to get up for school. I didn&#180;t use an anchor. I dont remember, what happened...... (I ONLY REMEMBER FRAGMENTS)

      I am lying on my couch in the lobby. I have a computer on my stomack. I&#180;m doing something with it... I put it away. I start thinking something like "What the heck? Why do I feel so... Weird? Wait a minute... Wasn&#180;t I.. WILDing just a minute ago? This is weird.. Why am I here? Better do a reality check" I looked at my hand. It looked normal. Then I counted my fingers... *one, two, three, four, five, six..* "WHAT??" I count my fingers over and over again. After about ten times of counting six, I look around my surroundings.

      (lucidity) "This can&#180;t be a dream. This is reality!!" I tried, how my body feels. All normal. "wha... I think this is a dream, but if it isn&#180;t, then I&#180;m in trouble..." I wondered, should I go to see if my parents were in their room... I could now speak to them!! But wait... Is this guaranteed to be a dream? I didn&#180;t know, but as I went to the other room...

      I wake up. I look around me. "oh, I&#180;m awake. That was super cooooooool!!!" *SCATTERED MEMORIES* I find myself playing WAR online. My dwarf character is a bit weird. It is only a half... And it is named "damage dealer" *SCATTERED MEMORIES* I am on my balcony. I am accompanied with a dwarf.

      I am about half lucid. I give the dwarf something weird. I say "Lets go fly. These magical items make us able to fly" We elevate. But after a while, I get scared by the height and I lose my flying powers. I drop down on some weird bars coming out of my wall. I drop down and down and down.... *SCATTERED MEMORIES*

      So I was in a dream for maybe a minute first, but that is a W.I.L.D, right?

      I would have preferred to have an OBE, cuz I&#180;ve had one once, and that is much cooler.. But still....

      I W.I.L.Ded!!!!!!

      Tonight I will do it again.... And this time I&#180;ll go straight into the lucid dream by an OBE...

      I&#180;ll report my second WILD tomorrow..... (sorry about the font)

      EDIT:
      I remember, that I could almost see a landscape, that I was thinking of... I can&#180;t remember when that happened..

      EDIT2:
      Okay, I do remember that I saw the landscape when I was really sleepy and messed up. So should I try to visualize tonight?

      EDIT3:
      Sorry, but I remembered another thing. I remember going to my kitchen. In there I tried to get the lights working, but I couldn&#180;t

      Tonight I&#180;m gonna do a ton of RC and get my lucidity and dream quality up so that I&#180;ll gain control.

      Nice job man, it's just a shame you didn't get to do more. Hopefully my first WILD (and first LD) will come soon. Good luck on getting your 2nd WILD and many more after

      Congrats!!! I've yet to WILD, I've only tried once... I think I need to get some more lucid dreams under my belt before I attempt again.

      Okay, so my attitude got a bit damaged in the night... So no success...
      The REAL success will come in THIS WEEKEND!!! For I will dedicate this weekend to the practice of WILD. I will W.I.L.D!!!
      Whatīs my plan, you ask? (or dont ask, but iīll tell it anyway )

      MY PLAN:

      Before:
      In the evening I will decide to stay conscious when drifting to sleep, and I will motivate myself.

      1. I will wake up after about 4.7h of sleep. I will use a cell phone wrapped in a sock to get myself just enough up.
      2. I will wake up just the right part of my brain. I will use special exercises after I have woken up to get it working...
      3. I will go to sleep at my couch, which is not so nice, but it should keep my mind more aware that way. It will also not be the normal place for sleeping for me, so that should keep my mind more aware too.
      4. I will relax.. I dont really know how yet, but thereīs no need to know.
      5. I will passively (though a bit actively too) notice my breathing, as I drift off to sleep.

      After:
      If I succeed, I will eat some great food. If I will fail, I will punish myself with a cold shower.

      And I will try as many times as possible this in the night and the morning. So Iīll basicly wake up, and set the clock about 1h 10min forward...

      I will not try. I will succeed.

      FATAL FAILURE

      I just hate it when my brain dont function right. I clearly knew, what I should do, but I did it all wrong after waking up. I didnīt relax, didinīt use an anchor, didnīt keep my mind awake....

      Tonight I WILL remember what to do! And I will go to WILD at my couch, not at my bed!!
